Hoseok stirs in his sleep, feeling disoriented as he looks around and realizes he is in his bedroom. How did he get here? He remembers crying while leaning against the door in the living room after Wooshik left. Did he sleep walk to his room somehow?

Hoseok darts his gaze outside the window. It's still dark, probably after midnight. His stomach growls as he remembers that he hasn't eaten lunch or dinner yet. But how can he eat? His heart aches from the betrayal he witnessed earlier. It's the first time he gave his heart to someone, only for Wooshik to mercilessly crush it. He should have just rejected Wooshik. That would have saved him from heartache.

With a heavy heart, he tries to get up from bed and make his way to the kitchen to fix himself a cup of tea, hoping it will help calm him down. He wobbles towards the door, only to stumble backwards in horror, as he sees a snake slithering on the floor. Hoseok trembles as he quickly scampers away from the serpent, frantically searching his room for anything he can use to defend himself against the dangerous creature.

Grabbing a shoe he finds at the foot of the bed, Hoseok curses Yejun for his lack of conscience. His brother is truly heartless for not treating him like family. After stealing his boyfriend, Yejun sent a snake into his room to scare and possibly harm him. "Don't come near me. I will hit you with this shoe," he shakily says, holding the shoe in front of the snake to intimidate it. The snake hisses, raising its head and fixing its gaze on Hoseok.

"Hoseok, it's me," the snake mindlinks.

"Huh?! I must really be hungry. Great, now I'm hearing things. If I didn't know better, I would think that this snake is talking to me in Wooshik's voice," Hoseok blurts out while intently watching the snake in front of him.

"Hoseok, you aren't hallucinating. I want you to listen and don't move your eyes away from me -I mean away from the snake. I won't hurt you, I promise. You need to stay calm and not freak out at what you're about to witness, please," the snake says again.

Hoseok knits his brows in confusion but remains vigilant. He can't let his guard down and get bitten by the snake in front of him. "Did Yejun send you to hurt me? Can he make animals talk too?"

"No, Yejun has nothing to do with me being here," the snake answers.

"If Yejun didn't send you and you can talk to me, who are you then? Why do you sound like Wooshik? Are you Medusa's son?" Hoseok asks again, though scared.

"Medusa, who? I don't know her. I sound like Wooshik because I am him -I am Wooshik," the snake hisses.

Hoseok cackles at the snake, shaking his head and still not believing the snake's words. "Sure, you are, considering you both are traitors. That cheater Wooshik didn't waste a second. As soon as he met my evil twin, he forgot about me and replaced me with him. He's just like you -a snake, a traitor," Hoseok spats, his voice filled with bitterness.

"You misunderstood, Hoseok. I'm not interested in Yejun. He was the one who threw himself at me. He wants to break us, and he is making it possible because you don't want to hear me out," the snake frustratedly hisses. "And you don't believe that I'm Wooshik, right? Let me show you. Please don't faint." As soon as it utters those words, the snake begins its transformation.
