Jungkook wakes up early, as Namjoon is about to help him train for the competition. He makes his way into the kitchen, moving effortlessly as he takes out the ingredients he needed to cook breakfast. Taehyung is still sleeping, and Jungkook wants to prepare a meal for him before he leaves for training.

As Jungkook deftly cracks eggs into a bowl and sizzles strips of bacon in the frying pan, he glances at the clock, feeling a mixture of excitement and nerves for the training session ahead. The aroma of breakfast fills the kitchen, and he carefully slices some fresh fruit, hoping to surprise Taehyung with a warm meal when he wakes up. With every chop and stir, Jungkook is determined to make this morning special before he focuses on his preparations with Namjoon.

After finishing cooking, Jungkook returns to their bedroom to wake up his husband. The word 'husband' sends flutters to his chest. He has a husband, someone to call his own. Finally, after losing his mother, his wolf dormant, and a distant father, he now has someone to be there for him.

As Jungkook approaches the bed, a smile tugs at his lips, filled with gratitude for the warmth and love that fills their shared space. The vulnerability he once experienced seems distant now, replaced by the comfort of sharing the space with Taehyung, his delightful scent of lotus filling their bedroom. He stares at his sleeping husband, taking in his beautiful features and can't help but think that marrying him was one of the best decisions he ever made.

He gently places a light kiss on Taehyung's forehead, causing the omega to stir and gradually open his eyes. "Tae, freshen up now. I want to have breakfast with you before I leave for training."

"Oh, you're starting today?" Taehyung sits up, giving Jungkook a loving gaze as he touches the side of Jungkook's face. "Okay, just give me a minute." He pecks the other's cheek before getting out of bed and running into the bathroom, leaving Jungkook smiling like a lovesick teenager.

"I want to join you at the training ground, but it's Jimin and Yoongi's last day in Obsidian. They are going back to Evergreen, so I'll spend some time with them before they leave," Taehyung explained. He really wants to be there while Jungkook trains for the competition.

"Don't worry. You could watch me train some other time. I know Jimin is very important to you, and you two hardly spend time together since he mated with Yoongi and moved to his pack," Jungkook said softly, reassuring his husband that he understood him.

"Thank you. I love you. I promise to join you in your training next time, and maybe I could teach you some tricks. Luna is a great warrior if you may ask. She trained with Athena once," Taehyung replied, winking mischievously at his husband.

Jungkook pulls Taehyung closer, embracing his lean waist. The warmth of Jungkook's hug envelopes Taehyung as their lips meet in a sweet, lingering kiss that conveys affection and unspoken emotions. The world around them fades away, leaving only the soft rhythm of their intertwined hearts. Jungkook pulls back, matching Taehyung's gaze. "I should go. Namjoon hyung must already be waiting for me," he says, still quite dazed from their kiss.

"Please be careful," Taehyung reminded him, while planting a kiss on Jungkook's cheek.

As Namjoon watches Jungkook's fluid movements and the effortless way he guides the arrow to its mark, a swell of pride fills his chest. The dedication and skill Jungkook has honed are a testament to his hard work, and Namjoon admires not only the precision of the shot but also the determination behind it. In that moment, he realizes that even though Jungkook's wolf is dormant, he can still be a force to be reckoned with.

"I never knew a freak like you could possibly possess a talent," the snickering voice behind them snapped Namjoon out of his trance. It was Kihyun and his alpha friends, along with Jihan. "Do you really think that having a little skill in archery would make you win the competition? You're delusional, brother. Just because the head alpha competition is open to all pack members doesn't mean a useless freak like you should compete. What a joke!" Kihyun continued his insults.
