Three days later, Taehyung and Jungkook find themselves at the main pack house. A helper opens the door and lets them inside. Taehyung marvels at the beautiful interior of the spacious living room. Despite having helped with banquets before, he had only been in the kitchen and banquet hall. This is the first time he has the chance to explore the living space of the pack house. It's lavish and screams comfort and elegance, with plush sofas, vibrant artwork on the walls, and a stunning view of the surrounding forest through large windows.

"It's my first time stepping into the main pack house living room," Taehyung whispers to Jungkook as he takes in the scene with wide eyes.

Jungkook grins, clearly proud of his old home, and playfully nudges Taehyung. "I knew you'd love it! Just wait until you see my old bedroom and what we'll do there," he whispers back with a mischievous glint in his eyes.

Taehyung raises an eyebrow and nudges Jungkook back. "Your old bedroom? Aren't you being naughty? What exactly do you have in mind?" he asks, a smirk forming on his lips.

Jungkook leans in closer, lowering his voice. "It's something I haven't done before, but I'd like to do now because I have the most beautiful husband and omega with me. Perhaps something we'll both enjoy together." His eyes sparkle with playful intent, leaving Taehyung feeling a wave of anticipation. Taehyung lowers his head as he tries to hide his smile, feeling a warm blush creep up his cheeks.

But Jungkook isn't done flustering the poor omega. He leans in again and whispers into Taehyung's ear, "Would you like that? You, under me in my old bed while I show you how much I desire..."

A throat clearing halts their playful banter, and both boys turn to see Junseo and Hira standing in the living room. There's a slight smirk on his father's face, clearly having overheard Jungkook's suggestion. The air shifts from lighthearted teasing to a more awkward tension as Taehyung's blush deepens and Jungkook chuckles, trying to ease the sudden embarrassment. "Well, looks like we'll have to continue this conversation later," Jungkook says, winking at Taehyung.

Junseo approaches them first. He embraces Jungkook, who stands frozen, not expecting such gestures from his father. Taehyung gazes at them with a fond smile. He can't help but feel a twinge of envy mixed with happiness for his husband, knowing that Jungkook still has a father who wants to be a part of his life.

Watching the father and son, Taehyung reflects on his own relationship with his family. His parents will never see past the cursed mark on his arm. How could they treat him with such disdain when all he craves is their acceptance? He halts his thoughts, feeling a sense of sadness wash over him. Shaking his head lightly, Taehyung brushes off the heavy feelings, reminding himself of the love he has built with Jungkook and the family they will create together. As Junseo pulls away, Jungkook's surprise melts into a shy smile, warming Taehyung's heart.

Hira breaks the silence, "Let's head to the dining room. Kihyun and Yunhee are already there waiting," she says a little too excitedly for someone who never cared for Jungkook before. Taehyung and Jungkook follow Hira and Junseo to the dining room and find Yunhee and Kihyun already settled.

Jungkook pulls out a chair for Taehyung, who smiles and takes his seat, appreciating the gesture. Yunhee can't help but steal glances at Jungkook. He has always been more good-looking than Kihyun, but now he seems to exude a certain charm that's hard to ignore. There's confidence in the way he carries himself, a subtle grace in his movements that draws her eyes to him. His warm and inviting smile makes her heart race a little faster than she would like to admit. As Taehyung and Jungkook share a loving gaze, Yunhee feels a pang of admiration mixed with envy. She used to be the recipient of Jungkook's smile and fond gaze, but now she can only watch from the sidelines as he shares that affection with Taehyung. Yunhee begins to regret her decision of rejecting Jungkook and choosing Kihyun.
