The newcomer pulls Taehyung into a tight hug, leaving Jungkook and Namjin dumbfounded. How could this stranger be calling Taehyung "little brother"? They know all of Taehyung's siblings, and this handsome man is definitely not one of them.

As Taehyung stands frozen in surprise, the warmth of the stranger's embrace envelops him, leaving Jungkook and Namjin exchanging bewildered glances. Their minds race to piece together this unexpected revelation. Who was this handsome man claiming to be his brother, and why had they never heard of him before? Curiosity pique, they lean closer, their hearts pounding with the thrill of intrigue and the promise of uncovering hidden family secrets.

"How come you're here, hyung?" Taehyung asks after he pulls away, meeting the stranger's gaze. "Jungkook, this is H-"

Before Taehyung can utter his name, the stranger cuts in, "Hyungsik, my name is Hyungsik." He mindlinks Taehyung, "You can't announce my real name here. Let's tell your husband and friends later who I really am, and not in front of the entire pack."

Taehyung relents and decides to heed his hyung's words. Hyungsik sits beside Taehyung as the omega serves him food, which Hyungsik accepts with a tender smile. "By the way, hyung, thank you for helping Jungkook. If it weren't for you, he would have come empty-handed and been eliminated," says Taehyung.

"Don't mention it. I just guided him in the right direction, and besides, I can't let Endy- I mean Jungkook, unfairly lose in the competition," Hyungsik replies, throwing a sharp glare in Kihyun and Yejun's direction.

"Are you staying here in Obsidian?" Namjoon inquires, his curiosity piques. There's something oddly familiar about Hyungsik that he can't pinpoint exactly, plus the man is otherworldly handsome with a very powerful aura. Namjoon has met dominant alphas, but they can't be compared to the dominance Hyungsik exudes.

"Uh, no. I was just passing by and decided to visit Taehyung. I haven't talked to him in a while and I really miss him," Hyungsik replies, giving Taehyung a tender smile.

Jungkook notices how Taehyung seems to be close to Hyungsik. The omega is beaming and gazes at the newcomer with admiration. He isn't jealous, totally not. What if Hyungsik looks like the reincarnation of Adonis? He calls Taehyung 'little brother,' so there's no reason for him to get jealous, right? "Umm, how did you two meet? Don't get me wrong, I'm just curious, and also I'm grateful for your help in the forest. But as far as I know Taehyung has no brother that lives outside Obsidian. So how are you two brothers?" Jungkook asks, furrowing his brows.

Before Hyungsik can reply, a group of unmated omegas approaches their table. Their smitten gaze is directed at Hyungsik. One of them is Aecha, a female omega who used to bully Taehyung when they were working in the kitchen during banquets. Aecha always gave Taehyung a scowl and taunted him with words. "T-Taehyung, you have a very handsome guest," Aecha mumbles shyly. Taehyung is surprised by the sudden change in Aecha's behavior. He can see how hard she is trying to get Hyungsik's attention.

"Oh, this is Hyungsik-hyung, and he won't be staying long in Obsidian. He's really busy and travels a lot," Taehyung replies flatly. The omegas' faces deflate at that, looking like someone stole their candies.

"And you omegas are really pretty, but pardon me. I'm not looking for a mate. I already had one, and I'm not planning on replacing her," Hyungsik added. The omegas' faces dim even more as they defeatedly turn around and go back to their tables.

"You can stay the night with us, hyung," Taehyung offers. "Jungkookie, can hyung stay with us tonight?"

"Of course, Tae. If he's important to you, then he's important to me too," he replies, taking Taehyung's hand and squeezing it gently.
