TW: Mentions of domestic abuse, suicide, and other sensitive topics

I woke up to see the rest of the members were already dressed. I rushed out of bed and threw on a random shirt and pair of jeans before running downstairs and getting into the car so we wouldn't be late. Soon we got to the filming location which was just a big building with a bunch of different sets inside. We got out of the car, and each went to our makeup artist so that we could get ready. "Good morning, my sweet angel," Nari said in a joking manner, making me laugh at the use of that nickname. "You're doing individual scenes today, so that means I can take my time getting you ready," she explained while pinning my hair back with clips. She finished doing my makeup rather quickly, once she was done with makeup she moved on to doing my hair which also didn't take long since all she did was add a slight curl to the ends of my hair and fix up my bangs.

Nari looked around to see if it was my turn to film yet

Nari looked around to see if it was my turn to film yet. Once she realized we still had some time together, she handed me a pile of clothes and told me to get dressed as quickly as possible. I did as she said and got dressed in the clothes she gave me, which were just a pair of jeans shorts, a black long-sleeve shirt, and a black oversized jacket.

I walked out of the dressing room and back to where Nari was

I walked out of the dressing room and back to where Nari was. As soon as I sat back down on the chair where I was previously sitting, she perked up. "I need some explanations about this album," she eagerly said. I took a deep breath before trying to explain to her, "I'm playing a girl who got into a relationship with someone who she thought was the one, but he actually abuses her, hence the reason you have to put bruises on me. I know that the lock necklace is supposed to represent how I'm locked into the cycle, and because of the emotional and physical abuse, it's hard for me to leave him, which is why I seek comfort in my friends, but eventually, my character tries to commit suicide," she took a deep breath and stopped drawing on the bruises and just looked at me. "You are such a powerful young woman for being able to portray and understand such a harsh topic. You are going to do such amazing things I'm so proud of you," she said while continuing to draw bruises on me. "(Y/N), are you ready?" I hear another staff member ask. I nodded, got up from my chair, and walked over to where the director was; the set was made to look like a house, and one of our staff members was standing in the middle of the set. "This is going to be hard to do; it is a scene where there is abuse portrayed. If you feel scared or if he hits you, shout bubbles, and we'll stop immediately," the director explained, taking a small pause before continuing. "If we can get this right the first time, it's a one-and-done kind of shot. I don't want to make any of you uncomfortable, so let's just try our best and make this a good day," the director said, finally finishing his explanation of what we had to do for this scene. I was slightly nervous because this was a serious topic, and I just wanted to make sure I did my best. We got set up on the set and got ready to film the scene, "Action!" the director shouted, and as soon as he shouted that, the staff member who was supposed to be portraying my boyfriend walked up to me, grabbing me by the shoulders and slammed me on the wall shaking the set with how hard he slammed me. He then raised his hand and made the motion to hit me, and I played along, acting as if I got hit. "Fall to the ground, look hurt!" the director shouted, I did as he said and fell to the ground, where the staff member acted like he hit me a couple more times. "Cut! You did amazing (Y/N), come here," he said with open arms. I felt so vulnerable; I know I was just meant to be acting, but something about how real it felt made me scared and just want to go home. "I won't make you do that again; you did amazing. I am so proud of you," he said while rubbing my shoulders in a comforting manner. "Go home and get lots of rest, please," he said before walking away to record the other member's solo scenes. I walked back to where Nari was; she stood there silently, handing out a makeup wipe for me to take off my makeup with. "You did so good, unnie, watch this is going to be your big break," her words made me hold some hope that maybe this could be what saved us. I wasn't sure it would be a big break, but I was hoping we could secure the win we needed to save Bangtan.
