"One more take. I promise, last one, princess," Yoongi mumbled, taking a sip from his coffee as he let out a yawn.

Jungkook was now curled up on the floor next to me, sound asleep. It was well past midnight, but the three of us were still at it, recording a demo for my song. Jungkook was long gone, and Yoongi was three coffees deep into the session.

"No, I'm tired, Yoongi, please. There has to be one that's good enough." I pleaded, slouching over on top of Jungkook, who was somehow still sleeping.

"Fine, get him to bed, and I'll work on seeing how I can get this to work together. Good job, princess," he mumbled as he sat up to gently kiss the top of my head before he left our at-home makeshift studio.

A few weeks had passed since that night, and it was safe to say that we were so busy it was easy to forget about the song-composing process. The eight of us were crammed into the back of our van, waiting for the rain to settle before we got out to film our next music video. All of us were ready in our outfits; we wore matching black ripped skinny jeans and a variety of thin t-shirts that provided little to no warmth.

"Have you guys started brainstorming some ideas for our next album?" Namjoon blurted, interrupting the silence that had fallen over us.

Jimin slowly nodded his head, his gaze flickering between Namjoon and me. "I have, but I had a question..."

His voice came out as a mere gentle whisper; it was rare to see Jimin so scared to ask Namjoon something.

Namjoon nodded his head slowly, his eyebrows slightly furrowed at Jimin's new demeanor. "I was wondering if it had to be a solo? What if I had an idea for a song, but I wanted one of you to sing with me?"

"I'm not the one who makes those decisions, but I don't see why the producers would say no. Who did you have in mind?"

"(Y/N),"

I felt my eyes widen at his response; it wasn't a bad reaction, just a surprised one. "Why not me?" Taehyung blurted, causing the members to let out a mere snicker.

"Look, we're all great vocalists, don't get me wrong, but with the concept we were given, and what I have drafted, I think she'd do good,"

I slightly shrugged, knowing that if I did the duet with Jimin, it would possibly make or break the album. If I did the duet, that also meant no pressure to write a song that fit the album; working with Jimin was something that already came so naturally to me.

"If Bang PD and the producers let us, I'd love to." I blurted, not even taking a moment to think before I said anything.

"Perfect, I'll make sure I get approval before I even show you what I have drafted," Jimin gleemed, pulling out his phone to text who I could only assume was either our producer or CEO.

"I'm sort of intimidated with this concept," Jungkook mumbled, looking around the van, trying to guage everyones recations.

"Me too," Namjoon agreed. Something about him also feeling intimidated by the concept made me worry.

"Well, I think it's cool. Not to be grim, but if that's our last album before we disband, it's a good way to go out," I mumbled, shrugging my shoulders, accepting the fact that our next album could be our disbandment album.

"Wow, way not to be grim," Hobi mumbled sarcastically, making the rest of us laugh.

"She's right, though. The concept is something that hasn't been done before, so we can either win big or end our careers with a bang. Although with the way we're all making solo music, I doubt we'd just disappear from the music scene." Yoongi said, his eyes widening as he finished his rant, realizing he had just said something none of us knew.
