Chapter 24

After spending time with J-hope, I decided to go inside. Since the California heat was getting to me, I decided to go inside and be with the rest of the members. It seemed like I came right in time since one of the cameramen was asking some questions when I walked up and stood next to Namjoon. "What will happen if the girls you cast don't show up?" He asked us from behind the camera. "Then we'll just use (N/N) and our producers," Jungkook replied with a smile, proud of his response. "We cast girls, but if they don't come for some reason," Yoongi started saying but then quickly just went quiet to not think of the worst just yet. "It's hard to find this place. Look at how many houses there are," Namjoon commented while motioning to all the houses with one hand and wrapping an arm around my shoulders in a protective manner. "If they don't come then I can just fill in and work even harder," I commented making Namjoon slightly chuckle at my comment and pat my shoulder that he had his hand resting on. We disbursed after talking a bit more as a group waiting to see if any of the girls showed up. Jungkook and I were messing around with the camera since he was shoving it in my face and getting intense close-ups of my eyes and lips. He quickly put the camera down to look up at the girl who was wearing a white skin-tight short dress. J-Hope and Jin jumped up cheering and hugging the girl which was kind of weird because stuff like hugging and being affectionate in Korea was revered for people who were dating or super close to each other, but we were in America after all. I was sitting in Taehyungs lap next to Yoongi and Jungkook as we were talking about how we were starting to lose hope in one of our girls coming. "I can get closer to her, come on (N/N)," Taehyung said while dragging me over to where J-Hope Jin and their girl were hanging out. He took no time to introduce himself, "Hi I'm V," He said while stretching out his hand for her to shake, "I'm Jewel," She replied while shaking his hand. "I'm (Y/N)," I told her while following Taehyungs actions and shaking the girl's hand. Soon the rest of the members came out and started chatting with Jewel, Jungkook even sang to her. Soon the fun stopped for a second since we got informed a new girl showed up, I turned around and saw it was Victoria. The smile that was once on my face was now gone since Taehyung went up to her with open arms and hugged her. I decided to get out of the sun and instead go hang out with Namjoon and Jimin in the house away from the rest of the members and most importantly away from the sun and Taehyung. After everyone's girl had shown up we gathered outside of the house in our teams standing next to the girls we had scouted. "Well when we go back to Korea we won't be able to film music videos like this again until we retire," Yoongi commented which was true. Korea saw these things as controversial, me being in the group was already controversial enough. We gathered in a circle and put our hands in the middle shouting "Bangtan" and splitting off into our groups waiting for further instructions from Warren. "Good evening fellas, good evening We're here, Los Angeles California man! But before we go any further, I wanted to congratulate you guys on picking very beautiful ladies right here, and we're gonna shoot this Boy in Luv music video right here, and let everybody know how their supposed to do it. I'm gonna give you guys some pointers on certain things, check you guys out, and make sure y'all are doing alright, but overall, we're gonna shoot the video and have a good time," Warren explained to us taking me out of my previous grumpy mood and putting me back into my slightly cheery mood.  For our first scene, the boys were sitting on the couch next to Victoria and I was standing up behind the couch standing over her. Finally, after a few minutes of the boys being flustered, we started the music and got to filming the music video. Taehyung got up to stand next to me and was looking at me instead of Victoria, but I didn't mind it I thought it was cute how even with such a gorgeous girl sitting on the couch he was so focused on me. The music stopped and Warren walked over and started talking to the boys, "If the song's about the lady, then look at the lady. V you invited Victoria here not (Y/N), I get that she's really pretty but you already did a video with her, and you get to do many more when you go back but right now it's about Victoria," Warren explained giving Taehyung a playfully stern look. After a couple more shots the directors gave us a break and moved on to filming Jimin and Namjoon. During our break, Taehyung sat in one of the swinging egg chairs with me standing in front of him. I was laughing at Yoongi since he was so flustered being around such a pretty girl, I suddenly was pulled down onto Taehyungs lap so we were both now sitting in the chair swinging around. The cameraman eventually came over to us and asked us about how we felt filming with Victoria. "I tried to look at Victoria but," he took a long pause trying to look for the right words making me wonder what he could be conjuring up in his mind. "I couldn't help but look at (N/N), she's just so captivating," He explained while moving his hand higher and higher up my thigh stopping at the end of my skirt not caring that there was a camera documenting all of this. If one overly observant person watches this we could be exposed in a second. I laughed at his comment trying to play it off as him just being playful. It was finally time for us to shoot the next scene in the kitchen, it felt awkward if I was being honest. None of the boys would get close to Victoria or even make eye contact with her. I was starting to feel like she and I had more chemistry than the boys combined. We were taking another break since we couldn't seem to get the shot right. I was so exhausted so I just went and sat down next to Jin leaning on him and making him wrap an arm around me in a big brother manner. I couldn't help but drift off into a slight slumber during the break we had, Jin was my comfort person. Although I spent a lot of time with the maknae line Jin was the person I could count on to be there for me and to always make sure I had everything I needed and wanted. He treated me like I was his little sister, always spoiling me rotten and letting me get my way no matter what. "(N/N), I have to go it's my turn to film," Jin said in a whisper while leaning me over so I was lying on the couch on my side, I missed the comfort and warmness Jin provided but if I didn't let him go we'd be here longer. I slept for like what felt like years until I was awakened by the loud sound of my voice singing. I jolted up looking around confused and dazed at what was going on until I remembered our mission. I was soon bombarded by my stylist who was now touching up my eyeliner and lip gloss while also fixing my messy hair. At this point, I didn't care what I looked like I just wanted to go home back to my bed where I could sleep in peace. Jungkook came over with his stolen camera and pointed it right at me, "Did you see Jimin?" He asked making my face scrunch out of confusion. "No, what happened with Jimin?" I asked expecting him to have gotten scolded. "He's pissed with Namjoon because he isn't letting him get screen time," He replied while giggling behind the camera making me laugh. He wasn't serious about getting much screen time, except when people weren't being fair about it. The rest of the day was smooth sailing and we got the video done with minor problems here and there. We said our final goodbyes to the girls before going back home and finally getting to change out of the uncomfortable I was wearing, although cute and stunning the heels were starting to hurt, and wearing all black in the middle of summer was a horrible idea.
