A story in which Kim (Y/N) was sitting in a coffee shop one day and was scouted by a K-pop entertainment company employee. " Hello there my name is Kim Ara I work for a company called Big-Hit Entertainment, and we're looking for new talent to create...
"We're on our way to the AMA's!" Jimin shouted while looking at the camcorder I had in my hand.
"We have so many interviews and performances for these few weeks we're going to be here," I whispered. There was no real reason we were recording ourselves other than that we were looking to make time go by faster, and it was our first time in America for a TV appearance.
"Are you nervous?" Jimin asked, flipping through the magazine he had brought with him.
I shook my head slowly, putting the camera down in my lap as we were taking off. "I'm excited! I feel like if this goes right, we're going to gain some real popularity."
"Oh, here comes optimistic Magee," Jungkook mumbled, peering over his seat, which was in front of mine.
"Shut up, I'm being serious."
"I know you are, and so am I. You've got this new preppy attitude to you now." Jungkook mumbled, a slight smirk on his face.
"Sorry, I'm not going through an emo angsty phase!"
"Inside voices, we're on a plane, not a zoo." Jin scolded, pointing at the three of us, causing Jimin to put his hands up defensively.
"When we land, I want you all to behave. That means no wandering, no stopping to look at every cool thing you see, no stopping to watch street performances, and no fighting with the stylists when they try to do their job and style you." Namjoon said, joining in on Jin's scolding of us while setting rules that targeted almost all eight of us.
"Now get some rest, because once we land, it's straight to work."
I slumped down in my seat in an attempt to sleep, only to fail. For some reason, the thoughts of our growing popularity were getting to me. Remembering the night that I broke down and admitted to Yoongi about how being famous scared me was the only thing running through my head.
What if everything went wrong? Going to a country where you only spoke so much of the predominant language was already daunting enough, but adding in this whole unexplored market for K-pop was making all of my hard-to-handle feelings even worse.
"Alright! No slacking off, everyone! Artists in chairs! Stylists get working, managers...try not to go crazy."
The nice part about traveling and having so many important events was the fact that the company decided to splurge a bit and fly out our usual staff crew, which meant that Hanuel was still around to style me.
"You're going to help me out while I do your hair," He huffed out, splaying all the products he uses on me to do my makeup. "What-"
"No questions, simple makeup, you've seen me do it a million times."
I nodded slowly, reaching for the moisturiser before squeezing some on the palm of my hand and rubbing it on my face. I let the moisturizer dry a bit before putting on some super light, minimal foundation, before moving on to my eyes.
