I got dressed back into the matching outfit I had on before once I got done with my event. I felt nothing but relief when I got that performance over with, it was meant to be for fun but everyone was treating it like the Olympics. I walked back out to the main gym where all the other idols were hanging around waiting for their events to start. I was looking around to see where my members were until I heard someone shout my name. "(Y/N)," I turned to see who it was and it was none other than Joy from Red Velvet, I walked up to her and greeted her. "It's been so long since I've seen you how have you been?" she asked while grabbing my hand and guiding me to sit with her and the rest of Red Velvet. "I'm good, just very busy with school and our albums," I replied while taking a seat on the ground next to Joy and Irene. "I understand how you feel about school," Yeri commented while filing with her fingers in her lap. "I know right, I get out of school and go straight to practice and don't get home until around midnight," Irene shook her head as if not liking the conditions we were put under. "It's unfair but it's going to pay off, you've been working hard and it's noticeable," Seulgi reassured me while rubbing my shoulder. "You've improved a lot, it feels like I'm watching my little sister grow up," Joy exclaimed with a smile on her face while embracing me in a tight hug. I let out a giggle as I returned her hug, "We need to hang out soon," Wendy piped in. "We do, my birthday is coming up in September maybe we can do something?" I questioned since I wasn't sure what their schedule was like or our schedule. "Yes, you're going to be an adult we have to do something special," Seulgi shouted while perking up, "We're going to plan something for you don't you worry," Wendy said while winking at me. "Thank you, you're all too sweet," I complimented with a slight tint on my cheeks. Being a part of a Boy group that was so sheltered by our company meant it was hard to have friends let alone other Girl group friends. "When do you think you'll have some free time?" Wendy asked while pulling out her phone, "Maybe sometime around my birthday, just not the actual day," she nodded while writing something down in her phone and putting it back in her pocket. "(N/N),(N/N)," I heard the familiar voice of Jungkook shouting, I turned to see he was running towards us, "How cute, he's excited to see you," Seulgi pointed out while tilting her head. "They changed our event to today so we don't have to come tomorrow, come on I want you to watch us," he said while holding out his hand in front of me. I turned to look at the girls with a slight frown on my face since I had to leave them but I wanted to support my group. "I'm sorry but I want to support them, Joy has my number so just call me if any of you want to hang out," I said while taking Jungkooks hand and getting up. "It's fine unnie, I'll make sure to text you," Joy shouted as I walked away with Jungkook. Jungkook was jumping up and down while stretching his legs to get ready for his run, "Good Luck Kookoo," I said while patting his shoulder, "If we win can I get a kiss home?" he whispered in my ear while shielding his lips with his hand so no one could see. I rolled my eyes but nodded while pushing him to get into his starting position. I walked over to stand next to Jin who was holding a bunch of our light sticks, "Where did you get so many?" I questioned while taking one from him and waving it around. "I took them from the fans," I stopped waving my Army Bomb around and looked up at the fans who were cheering, "You're giving them back right?" he nodded while cheering for Jimin who was getting ready with the other idols. Jin and I were at the start with Jimin while Yoongi and Namjoon were towards the middle to watch Taehyung and Hobi, and at the end, we were all going to try and catch up to watch Jungkook. The idols got to their starting positions and when the shot went off Jimin took off running his part of the race, "Run Chim, run faster," I shouted while waving around our light stick. He handed off the baton to Taehyung who started sprinting like his life depended on it. Jin and I ran on the side with them trying to catch up to where Jungkook was waiting. Taehuyng handed it to Hobi and we were in a close second almost third, when Hobi handed the baton to Jungkook he took off, there was no point in trying to keep up with him since he was long gone. When he crossed the finish line he kept running taking a victory lap and waving at us to join him for the lap. We all ran with him while holding up our light sticks. He finally stopped running and started giving hugs to all of the members, "You just won us a medal," I shouted excitedly while wrapping my arms around his neck and bringing him in for a tight hug. He wrapped his arms around my upper back to not raise dating rumors. "I know, I think you won us one too," he said while pulling away from the hug and picking up a water bottle.
