I LOVED PANCAKES!
Oh my goodness my mouth was watering just at the mention of their name.
Yum yum yum!
That's what we were eating for breakfast this morning and I couldn't be happier.
"This is so good! Right, Jenny?" I turned to see her.
"Yeah, but I think waffles are better." She smiled and said to me.
"No, they are not. Pancakes are literally the best thing to ever be made. Way better than waffles."
She rolled her eyes, "Waffles have the perfect grooves for syrup. It all runs down the sides of pancakes."
"Oliver, what do you think?" I asked him.
He smiled, "I like pancakes, especially soft fluffy ones."
"Don't listen to him, waffles are definitely the winner," June joined in the conversation.
I was getting better at telling the quadruplets apart. If you asked them they would say that they looked nothing alike but I couldn't agree less.
It was just starting to get easier to tell them apart based on how they acted.
The one that looked very tired and was constantly watching us was obviously Oakley while the one who was sitting next to me smiling and making jokes was Oliver.
June and Janae were a bit harder because their personalities weren't complete opposites like the boys.
However, the one who was also very tired looking and sending glares at Oakley was Janae.
At least I'm like 75% sure that was Janae.
"Why is Janae looking at Oakley like that?" I asked Oliver.
I was too scared to ask June just in case I had mixed the two girls up.
He looked up at the two of them like he had just noticed the tension between them.
Silly goose.
"I don't know Owen, let's ask them."
I didn't know if that would be the best idea because neither of them looked very happy to be awake right now but I wasn't going to stop Oliver from asking my burning question.
"So want to explain what's up with you two?" Oliver said to them with a smirk.
Him saying this made me, Jenifer, and June all turn our heads towards the pair of them who hadn't eaten anything.
The two of them sent each other a glare before at the same time they both started speaking.
"Janae didn't -"
"Oakley wasn't-"
When they realized they were speaking at the same they both stopped and sent each other another glare.
"Okay, I see we have a problem on our hands. Janae, first. Explain your story," Oliver told them.
Oakley rolled his eyes before Janae started talking. "After all of you fell asleep last night Oakley ran into the bathroom. I got up and followed him only for him to throw up four times and start running a fever. I told him that he was making himself sick with all the stress he was putting himself in and he tried to tell me he was fine. I sent him back to bed and then gave him medicine that should have helped him feel better AND put him to sleep. However I woke up this morning to find out he had thrown up all the medicine I gave him on purpose and If I had to guess, he probably didn't sleep at all."
I had never seen Oakley or Janae mad before and especially not at each other. This didn't feel right.
However, I think that if Jenifer had done that to me I would be upset too. Janae just wants Oakley to feel better if he is sick.
