Yoonmin and Taekook were back to their daily routine, but things shifted to a positive side since the trip.

Now, today,

Tae didn't expect anything big.

She didn't want balloons or surprise parties. But maybe... a text.A call.A flower, just like the other days.

Anything from him.

Nothing came. And that silence, god, it hurt.

The people in the office had already given their sweet wishes, some cupcakes, Jimin hugged her tightly and whispered:

Jimin: "You're not alone, okay? Happy birthday, my love."And gifted her a chain with a green pendant.

Mr. Kim and Tae had breakfast together and blessed Tae with full of love. And gifted her a new car.

Yoongi gave her a box of strawberries because Tae had made him promise to buy them on her birthday, as part of a deal with their company that would bring profit for both of them.

Namjin, Lizjen, Hobi, his sister and Josh, who are now in a relationship, Bogum, everyone greets her and sends gifts.

But Tae... she kept checking her phone. Over. And over.

Nothing.

When Tae decided to go home, she spotted Yoongi there, standing near her car.

She went to him and said Jimin had already left. He replied that he knew Jimin left, and he was the one who dropped her off at their home.

But what she did not notice was a small white box. And a letter.

Yoongi didn't say anything. Just gave it to her.

Yoongi: "He didn't want to ruin your day if you didn't wanna hear from him... so he left this with me."He paused.

Yoongi: "He made me promise I'd only give it if you looked... sad."

Tae didn't say a word. Just nodded and took the box.

She sat inside her car.

She opened the letter first as she could already smell the chocolate truffle, and her hands started to tremble.

Again, the letter with handwritten.

"Mi Amor, Happy Birthday.

I wasn't sure if I should write to you today.
But you've always loved honesty. So here it is, I miss you. I love you.

I wish I could be there with you, baking that terrible chocolate cake we always messed up together.
I didn't send flowers today. I didn't want to make you cry.

But I made your favourite chocolate truffles... they're in the box.
With strawberries, just like how you used to steal them from the fridge at night. I'll wait. I'm always waiting.

And if today, even for a second, you missed me too...
