CHAPTER 9

Silas pov

I fall asleep with Sang on my mind and am having quite a naughty dream about her. So, I'm not very happy with North, when he barges in and wakes me from my amazing dream.

He's pissed as usual and rants and raves about some girl. I'm still kind of out of it and have no idea what he's talking about. "Hold on" I say when I bump into him as I stumble to the bathroom.

"Dude, keep your afternoon wood to yourself" he snarks when I bump into him. I chuckle and keep walking. Once I'm done in the bathroom, I head back to my room.

North's sitting on my bed fuming. "Okay, now that I'm awake, what's your problem?' I ask, waiting for the full on rant to begin. He's my best friend but, I've seen that look on his face one time too many.

"North, did something happen with a girl?" I prompt him warily. He looks ready to burst and I know he needs to let it out before we go to the cookout.

He stands up and says "I'll tell you on the way to Nathans." We step outside and I look over at Aggeles' door and wonder what she's up to. Then I glance over at the parking lot and spot her.

Sang pulls a little cart over to our building, but I notice that she looks a bit tired. Running down the steps, I grab her cart and sweep her up the stairs.

She squeaks a little, but I'm not sure why, so I proceed to introduce her to North. North however, looks like he's going to explode and Sang suddenly takes a great interest in the floor.

I see North take a step forward and Aggele take a step back. Poor Sang has a frightened expression on her face and it looks like she's going to rabbit. Instead, she drops to her knees and cowers on the floor.

When I bend down and ask her if she's all right, she glances over at North with a look of great distress on her face. I help her stand up and she sways, while trying to catch her balance.

North being his typical dumbass self, starts yelling at her. Sang steps back, and hides behind me. I can feel her small body shake and it breaks my heart. Who would hurt this sweet angel?

I hear a small moan and turn around, just in time to catch Aggele mou as she faints.  Gently I shift her and carry her over to my door. "Hey Asshole" I whisper yell at North. "Grab her cart, open my door for us, and pray I don't kick your ass for scaring Aggele mou."

North grabs the cart and opens the door with a guilty look on his face. I carry her down the hall and gently place her on my bed. Damn, she looks good in my bed. Quietly, I turn around, close my bedroom door, and stomp back into the living room, where I left him. He's sitting on the couch looking very disturbed.

"Is she the reason you came storming in here earlier all bent out of shape?" I ask him trying not to raise my voice too loud. He pours out the whole story to me. I understood why he's upset, but he didn't need to take it out on her.

30 minutes pass and I tell North to "stay here" and go check on Sang. Looking down, I see her curled into my covers, with her head cradled on my pillow. She looks tiny in my big bed, but I could definitely get used to seeing her there.

Gently I sit on the edge of the bed, not wanting to disturb her. I reach down to push her hair off of her face and suddenly her stunning eyes pop open. She looks up at me in confusion, but smiles and shyly says"hi, how long was I out for?"
