CHAPTER 11

Sang pov

I walk into my apartment, lock the door, and lay down on my bed. My day has been so very eventful. So much has happened; I try and think what the best part of the day was.

Wow, I'm such a lucky girl. Not only am I free from my crazy ass step-monster and neglectful father, but now I have 2 really sweet, gorgeous friends.

At least, I hope they're my friends now. Silas is such a sweetheart, yum, what a hottie. North seems nice, once you get past his temper. Both boys are body beautiful, but North still kind of scares me. Silas makes me feel safe. They both smell so good!

I can't really blame North for being mad at me, I did disappear on him. Hahahaha, that part was actually kind of fun. Now, I can finally play and see exactly what I can do with my power.

Tomorrow I'll see how far I can push myself, but I'm just too tired tonight. Maybe I will see how water affects my invisibility. I giggle at the thought and am excited to try the pool.

Just then, my stomach starts rumbling and I realize that I'm hungry again. I get up; put all of my food away and the rest of my supplies. I think for a minute and decide to make Taco Soup for dinner.

I cook the ground beef. Then dump it into the large pot, with the canned beans, my chopped veggies and different spices. I'll let everything simmer for about 45 minutes or so.

Sigh, time to go take my bath! I run the water as hot as I can stand it, without it boiling me lobster red. I need to add bubble bath to my "to get list". Oh well, next time.

I soak in the water until my fingers start to get pruney and the amazing smell of the taco soup makes my stomach grumble. As I get out of the tub, I don't see my jammies anywhere. I remember that I didn't bring them in with me.

So, I dry myself off and wrap my towel around my body. I head over to my closet and find my pink tank top and sleep shorts and go back to the bathroom to get dressed.

Once I hang up my towel, I head into the kitchen to see if dinner's done. I stir the soup and taste test, it's ready. I wash a bowl and spoon and fill my bowl three quarters way full.

Putting my bowl down on the table, I go over to my bookshelf and select a book to read with dinner. For me, Sherlock and taco soup go hand in hand.

Half way through Hounds, I finish my soup and start to feel sleepy. So, I go into the kitchen, pack up my soup and put it in the fridge. Then I wash the dishes, dry them and put them away.

I check and make sure my windows are shut and locked and that my door's bolted and the chain put on. It can't hurt to be too careful; I am only one small girl.

As I turn off the lights, I jump into bed and snuggle down under the covers, I 'm a little afraid, but let my exhaustion carry me away to dreamland.
