Chapter 15 - A big misunderstanding

CHAPTER 15


North pov


Its a few minutes after 8:00 am, when I pull into the parking lot of Sang and Silas' apartment building. I was going to go to Si's, but decide to see Sang baby first.

I knock on the door and hear some muffled talking behind the door. Who could be in there with baby at this time of day? I wonder and start to get pissed.

Suddenly, the door opens and there stands Silas dressed only in his boxers and Sang peeking at me from around his shoulders. My temper flares sky high and I clench my hands into fists.

"What the fuck's going on here?" I scream at the two of them. Si grabs me by my shoulders and pulls me in the door and shuts it.

"Would you keep your voice down, it's still early" he scolds me. He just fucked Sang baby and he's telling me off for being loud. That's it; I'm going to kill him. I think as I give him my most evil look.

"North, please sit down and I can tell you what happened" Sang pleads with me. She takes my hand, leads me to the bed, sits down and pats the spot next to her.

I look down at Sang and she's wearing a tiny tank top and shorts and I worry that I might start drooling. Damn, she looks good enough to eat.

Grudgingly I sit down and cross my arms. The hell with that, I think and scoop her up into my lap. Then I wait to hear what she has to say. "Last night, I had a really bad nightmare and woke up screaming. When I screamed, Silas heard me and came over to check on me" she says in a small voice.

"When he calmed me down, I told him that I was afraid to be alone and asked him to stay with me" she says with innocence shining in her pretty, green eyes.

"Silas was a complete gentleman and held me while we both slept. He said that he's my friend and I hope you'll be my friend too?" she says in her musical voice and my anger's gone as quickly as it arrived.

"Of course, I'll be your friend Sang baby" I express to her in a gentle tone. "Would you like to do something together today?" She gives me a big smile and says that "Silas said he wants me to meet the rest of your friends.

"Why don't Si and I go over to his place and you can get dressed and come over when you're ready." I ask her nicely. Her outfit is really distracting and I don't want to make an even bigger fool of myself in front of her.

"I'll get cleaned up and be over in 20 minutes" she says as we head out the door. "Bye guys, see you soon"


Silas pov


As soon as we step into my apartment, I tell him "Shut up, we can talk in my room. I don't want to wake up my Dad or brother.

Quickly, we walk into my bedroom and I hold up a hand before he can say anything. "I'm going to tell you some things that I learned about Sang and you're not going to say a word until I finish" I say in a firm voice, letting him know that I'm not messing around.

North shoots me a dirty look, but sits down at my desk and purses his lips. "Sang has been through hell and we need to take care of her" I say as quickly as I can.

"She's only 16 and her family kicked her out yesterday. She didn't say why, only that I wouldn't believe her, if she told me" I continue and hold up my hand to silence him, when it looks like he's going to freak out.

"Aggele mou has nightmares and I saw some really bad scars on her back. I think she was beat by her step mother, who she accidently called her step monster. But she said she's free and that woman can't hurt her anymore" I say. "I don't think she meant to say half of what she said, but she looked relieved to share it with someone."

"That poor girl has never had a friend and her own fucked up family has deserted her. I want to see when the guys are free today and introduce her to them." I take a breath and continue.

"Do you have any questions, before I start texting the guys" I ask him, waiting patiently as he gathers his thoughts.

"How's she paying for her apartment?' he growls quietly, showing his mental distress at what I just told him. "Her dad's paying and giving her some spending money" answer his question with the information I was told.

"Did you try anything with her?" North forcefully asks me. "You know me better than that. I would never take advantage of her like that .She's vulnerable and more than a little fragile right now." I tell him honestly.

"I'm not going to lie, I did hold her and almost grabbed her butt, in my sleep. And she may or may not have felt TGL, but I would never push her for anything" I say as he shoots me a dirty look. I know I'll hear about that later, but I know he would've had the same problem.

Just then I hear a soft knock on my front door and I realized that we had talked for the entire time that I was supposed to be getting ready. I shove North out my bedroom door and tell him I'm going to grab a shower and get dressed.

"Please remember to be quiet" I plead with him. He smirks and walks towards the door.

Grabbing some clean clothes, I head to the bathroom. Quickly I shower, get dressed, and walk into the living room.

Sang and North are sitting next to each other on the couch talking about what to do today. North said that he texted everyone. "Kota said to come over whenever we are ready" he says while smiling at Sang. "Let's go" I say and we head out.
