CHAPTER 12

Kota pov

All of our team, except for Mr. B and Dr. Green, is at Nathans enjoying the cookout or swimming in the pool.

Victor's bent over his laptop. Nathan, Luke and Gabriel are racing in the pool. Silas and North are sitting together eating and having an intense conversation and I'm sitting here, thinking about my mystery girl.

I wonder if I will get to see that mysterious girl anytime soon. She seemed so scared and I hate seeing anyone like that. It reminds me of the tough times all of my brothers and I have gone through.

Maybe I'll go over and introduce myself and see if she wants to be friends. Wow Kota, obsessed much. Maybe a cold drink will take my mind off the girl. A guy can only count so much.

As I walk into the house to get that drink, I hear Silas and North talking about someone named Sang. I wonder who he is. Those two are acting weirder than usual.

It's really hot out today, time to get changed into my trunk and take a swim to cool down.

Silas and I got here about a half hour ago. We pile food on our plates and sit down to eat. I lean over and interrogate him to see what he knows about Sang. "I just met her today, but I would love to get to know her better" he says with a dreamy expression on his face.

It's not the first time I've heard him say that, but something in his expression looks a little more serious. Bullshit on that, Baby's mine. But first, I have to figure out how she disappeared on me.

"So, what else do you know about her" I prod him a little more forcefully. "She just moved in here today, but she said she moved to Charleston a week ago" Silas says.

"Sang's around our age, is going to Ashley Waters with us next week , and likes to blare her music" he continues. "What do you mean about her music?' I question him.

"Her loud music's the only reason that I met her today." He says and starts chuckling softly. "I heard someone moving in and she turned the radio up full blast.

I was so tired and only had maybe 4 hours sleep, so I stormed over and banged on her door" he said.

"Please tell me you remember to put clothes on this time?

"Of course, I had on clothes. I did accidentally scare her and she bumped her head, but I charmed her into opening the door." He says like it's a fond memory.

"What the hell do you mean, Sang bumped her head? " I quietly yell at him in a menacing voice. Oh no, he did not hurt my Sang Baby and act like it's nothing. I'm so going to enjoy kicking his ass.

Before I can get up and charge him, he holds up his hands and says "Relax you ass, she had a tiny red mark and it was gone, when we saw her later."

"That's everything that I know about Aggele, but I think I'm going to drop by tomorrow and visit" Si says in a silky voice. Fuck that, I think. "I'll stop by and go with you" I say with a smirk.

His face drops and he shoots me a dirty look, but I really don't care. And what's with this Aggele shit? Now, I'm really looking forward to tomorrow.

I'm not sure if I want to share Sang with the guys, but North opens his big mouth and starts telling them that I have a gorgeous new neighbor.

All eyes turn to me and Kota asks "Could she be a possible girlfriend?"

"Sang's beautiful and sweet, but she's a little lost and vunerable right now. She could really use some friends. I get the impression that she's all on her own"

"Oy, so when do the rest of us get to meet this sweet beautiful girl?" Gabe asks with interest in his eyes.

"I was planning on stopping by her place tomorrow and I'll see if she has any plans." North butts in and says "We'll stop by tomorrow and ask her" he says with a smirk. I roll my eyes.

"Did you meet her North?" Victor asks, his glance moving back and forth between our faces.

"Yep" North says and then continues "I stopped by the SoCo café and saved her from being assaulted by some fucker that used to work there named Greg. "

"I grabbed Greg and he drops Sang baby. She stands up, says "Thank you", and takes off down the street. I dropped the asshat and ran after her. She ducked down an alley and disappeared without a trace" he says in an bewildered tone.

"I did go back to the café and dragged Greg in to tell his boss what happened. Fucker, got fired on the spot" he says with a smug expression.

North neglects to mention where he acted like an ass and scared her into fainting, so I figure I would fill the guys in on that part of the story.

North glares at me. He should've kept his mouth shut, if he didn't want the truth coming out. All of the guys say that they would like to meet Sang and to text them, if she's free tomorrow.
It's about 12:30 am when North and Luke drop me off at my apartment. North smirks and asks me "So what time should I come over later?" What a jackass he is.

"How about I see ya, when I see ya? Remember not too late, we have an assignment tomorrow" I say with a smirk of my own. I'll keep an eye and ear out for Sang and go visit before he gets to my place. Alone time with sweet Sang, oh yeah!

Luke looks back and forth between the two of us and just shakes his head. They both yell "Night" and North drives off in the Jeep.

As I pass Sangs' apartment, I pause and look at her door. It's late and I know she's asleep, but I'm really look forward to seeing her again. Time for some sleep and hopefully sweet Sang dreams.
