Summer break was over and students began returning back to the academy. The yearly graduation was in preparation as well as the new intake of students. Aeliana was messaging her friends through the magic device as she lay in her bed, slowly merging together with it as one.
That was until she received a message from her two brothers that they wanted to have a meal with her outside the academy grounds. She stared at the message for a long while before agreeing to it. In a sluggish manner, she got out of her bed and dressed up.
Her hair rested around below her shoulders as she hadn't trimmed her hair in a while. Grabbing her comb by the table, she combed her hair and braided it into twin braids, adding some clips as accessories before heading out of the dorm building.
Aeliana barely set foot outside the dorm before she heard a familiar voice she had been hearing for the past week. She looked up, finding Zeru walking over towards her with his hands inside his pockets.
"Are you heading somewhere?" he asked as he glanced down at her outfit.
It was a simple summer dress with puffy sleeves. She also had a sun hat to block the glaring summer sun.
"Yup, my brothers asked me to have a meal with them because they just arrived back. I'm supposed to meet them in town." she said, adjusting her hat as the sunlight hit her eye, causing her to squint.
"Your twin brothers?"
"Uh-huh."
"I wanted to ask if you would like to go fishing with me by the lake but it's okay! Have fun with your brothers." he smiled and waved.
She raised an eyebrow, letting out a short chuckle as she questioned him, "Fishing?"
"Yes, I found out it's allowed as long as you throw the fishes back into the lake!"
"I see. Maybe later then? I should be back before the evening sun."
Zeru gave her an okay sign and waved goodbye but before he left he had a quick realisation and quietly chanted under his breath. A parasol emerged out of thin air and rested on the palm of his hand.
He placed it into her hands and nodded.
"The weather is going to be very hot so to be safe you should keep this with you."
"Oh, thank you." she glanced at the parasol and nodded, resting the handle on her wrist.
Zeru said another goodbye and left. Aeliana headed into town after her brief encounter with him. When she arrived in town, she looked around before taking a seat by the bench not far from where she was.
After a while, she noticed the twins walking over to her.
"You arrived faster than we thought." Marius commented before raising an eyebrow at her.
He pinched the edge of her sleeve and shook it around before saying in a serious voice, "Why are you only wearing this?"
She shot him a confused look in response. Pushing away his hand, she readjusted her sleeve and said,
"It's hot."
"You should have wore that summer shawl Brother Claud bought for you."
"Today is really hot! If I wore that, I'm going to melt even more and besides haven't you seen the latest fashion for women? This is the trend right now." she retorted back, huffing.
Marius rolled his eyes and poked her forehead, "I don't care about fashion trends or whatever they are. Your skin is going to turn red now."
"It won't! I'm wearing a sun hat and I have a parasol to be safe." She then lifted up the parasol.
