Hey Besties! 💜✨
It’s been a minute since I last updated Imara, and I just wanna start by saying thank you for your patience—I know the wait has been long, and I truly appreciate y’all sticking with me. I promise I haven’t just been chilling and slacking off! 😆 Editing this story has been a journey, and I’ve learned so much along the way as a writer and author.
When I first started Imara, I wrote it the best way I could at the time, loosely following an outline. And while the story was fire, my writing? Whew, it needed help—especially in the beginning. 😂
Y’all really stuck with me through that, and I love you for it! 💜 But now, I’ve been way more structured, making sure my scene transitions, POV switches, and character development are on point. I’ve also fleshed out details that were in my head but never made it to the page (oops, my bad! 😅).
The chapter count remains the same, but a lot of chapters have been refined and expanded. To show y’all the work I’ve put in, I’ll be posting the first five chapters of the edited version! 🎉
Of course, no pressure at all, but if you want to read ahead, my Patreon is three chapters ahead of Wattpad.

It’s been taking longer than expected because my original artist had some personal life issues come up, which I completely understand. That left me holding onto drafts while searching for a new artist—and let me tell you, that has been a long and expensive journey, full of disappointments and money-grab situations. 😩 But finally, I found an artist I love, and we’re back in motion! Since it’s still in the works, I haven’t published it on Patreon yet—I don’t want anyone paying for a service that isn’t ready. So for now, the only open tier on Patreon is for Imara’s novel.
