Chapter 30: The Guilt

(A/N; Let me explain the timeline. The last chapter 29 is back to chapter 27 timeline wherein Raya encountered the other person who's their prime suspect but with different outcome scenario from chapter 28. The Chapter 28 is where Raya saw and used her ability to see the future. Bakit hindi natuloy yung nakita niya? Because sa recent scene, she was stabbed causing the shift of the future. Meaning, nabago ang future. Instead na maka-uwi siya sa Prime ng ligtas, she was brought to the hospital. And who stabbed her? It's for you to find out.

Javin's POV

"It's all in the past, Javin. You have to let go."

I gritted my teeth.

"Naririnig mo ba ang sinasabi mo, Kreed?" I asked.

"I know what I am saying, Javin. "

"Kreed!"

Tumiim ang panga niya.

Ayokong sigawan si Kreed. I respect him and I owe him a lot. Susundin ko lahat ng utos niya maliban sa bagay na ito.

"Alam mong siya ang dahilan kung bakit nawala ang ilang myembro ng Prime Class!"

"It wasn't his choice!"

"But it was his decision that lead to that outcome!"

I gritted my teeth, controlling my anger.

"Siya si Oliver!" I screamed. "He's reckless, selfish, and self-centered! Hindi na ako magtataka kung sa mission na'to magiging rason na naman siya ng pagkawala ng isa sa mga gaya nating may ability."

"You know he's not like that—"

"He is! Stop defending him! Huwag mo ng linisin ang pangalan niya sa isip ko dahil wala siyang naidulot na maganda sa atin!" He's glaring at me. "I know tinitingala mo siya bilang leader. And I once too...but this time, I know better. Stop trusting someone who abandon you...and us."

Tinalokuran ko si Kreed.

"Magpapahangin muna ako."

Umalis ako sa lugar at pumunta sa field.

"I won't let him ruin anyone again. Para sa kuya ko."

This will be my chance para iganti ang kuya ko.

Flashback....

"Kuya Ver!" Malaki ang ngiti kong lumapit Kay kuya Oliver. He's my older brothers' best friend.

"Oui, tol! Musta?" Hinawakan niya ang ulo ko at nakipag-fist bump pa.

"Ayos lang kuya." Masaya Kong sagot.

Kuya Oliver is cool. I want to be like him but I would prefer to be like my Kuya, Kuya Jaxon...kahit he's too serious.

Dumaan sa harap namin si kuya Jaxon. He's holding a pen and a folder. Mukhang malim ang iniisip niya but I shrug it off. Lagi naman siyang ganyan.

Tinitingala ko sila. They're part of Prime Class. A Class that I want to be part of someday when I reach highschool.

At first I thought, this place slash class is where they put talented students...but through time, I realized it was something more.

"Do you think we should attend that competition?" Seryosong tanong ni kuya kay kuya Oliver.

"Yeah." Tipid na sagot Niya Kay kuya at sumandal pa sa Mesa. Kinindatan pa ko.
