While Evie and Bella were having their moment, the rest of the group was in Evie's Kitchen ransacking what little food she had. Her home was ready to be lived in, but she rarely got groceries since she still had access to Auradon Preps' dining hall. Which meant the group had to settle for trail mix, granola, and cereal. Not that they were complaining; food was food when you're starving.

"So what was it like being a beast?" Chad asked Ben as the others passed around his phone to look at the images of the creature.

"Annoying, it's like being in a mascot suit. You can't do much; no one can understand you, nor do they know it's you in there." That was the more palatable answer, the truth was that it was awful and extremely terrifying. Being under any spell was like that, take it from Ben, who's been under one three times now.  It didn't get easier, and he hoped this was the last time.

"Yuck, that sounds like hell. Well, good to have you back. You look good this way, with the beard; it suits you well." Chad said with a wink and a slap on the back. Everyone seemed to agree with that sentiment- well, everyone but Mal, who found it gross. The only opinion that mattered was Carlos', who loved it, which meant it was staying.

Speaking of which, Ben, despite being the bigger of the two, made his way over to his boyfriend to sit on him. Carlos didn't mind, he let his boyfriend get comfortable on his lap while the conversation around them carried on. Of the many things Ben and Bella had in common, sitting on the laps of their significant others was the most obvious one.

The conversation finally shifted away from Beast Boy and over to what they would do once their Audrey situation was taken care of. The majority had school the next day, so finals were the common answer, but the new arrivals had a whole new world ahead of them. School, too, eventually.

"Take my girl for a night out on the town, have us a proper reunion," Harry said, his arms wrapped around Uma's waist and chin resting on her shoulder. It was a cute sight; even when she rolled her eyes, it didn't do much to hide how soft Uma was in Harry's embrace.

"Right, but Uma wasn't selected to come over," Mal said, implying that once this was over, Uma would have to go back to life on the Isle.

"I help you, and this is how I'm repaid?"

"Helped us or not, you still put Ben under a spell and attacked Auradon at the Cotillion." Three mouths opened to retort, but they were beaten to it by a fourth participant.

"How is that any different than what you did?" A new voice emerged behind them. They all looked over to see Evie and Bella standing there. It was clear that it had been Bella who had spoken up; good to see her back at it.

"I never attacked Auradon. If anything, I've saved it every time something happened."

"Yes, but you did spell Ben, did you not? And why does that 'something' always seem to have to do with you? If we're going by your logic, Uma's doing her part in helping us, which exonerates her." Mal opened her mouth to argue, but she was stumped, so she shrugged and turned back around.

Uma, with a shit eating grin, wiggled her way out of Harry's arm to greet an old friend, she was delighted to see Bella again. The feeling was mutual as Bella embraced her with a hug.

"Glad to have you back."

"And I, you, Captain. Okay, where have you been? Cause your skin is glowing!"

"All over, at this point, it'd be better to ask where I haven't been. I'll fill you in later."

"Sounds super exciting."

"Are you two done? The day's not over, and we still have an angsty princess to stop." Carlos interrupted the two; it was good to see people from different backgrounds getting along, but right now was not the time. Nor was it the time to question when the two girls became friends; had they skipped a chapter somewhere along the way?
