Queen Banana

Chloe raised her arms up and used her fingers to frame the scenery in front of her. She closed one eye as she tilted side to side to find the perfect angle. "Oh I love it when a vision comes to life. My set looks perfect!"

She squealed as she looked at all the props, "The trees catch the sunlight through its branches at just the right time. And the colors, so vibrant! It's going to pop on camera!"

Zoe and Marinette walked up with smiles and chuckles, "It looks amazing, Chloe. We couldn't have pulled it off without your stylistic choices and great negotiation skills."

The bee gave a proud smirk, "Of course you couldn't have done it without me, I'm the best stylist and creative there is." She winked and they all bursted out in laughter.

I smiled as I finished putting the finishing touches on my face, I cringed seeing how menacing I look, "Do I have to look this evil?" I ask, turning away from the mirror.

Chloe nodded, "Yes, because when there is the change of heart, it'll be more noticeable. Right Ms. Producer."

She turned to Alya who walked into the trailer and crossed her arms, "Of course, whatever Chloe says goes, right?" Her sarcastic tone didn't go unnoticed by the other girls.

My eyes narrowed as I looked at the girl, "She's creative director, so yeah style wise its her call."

Alya huffed, "I was just saying, but as a producer, I just wanted to let you know there may be changes made today, so I hope you can handle it."

Marinette sighed, "Don't give them too much of a hard time, Alya. It's just a student film, after all." Alya shrugged a "whatever" before leaving the trailer.

Chloe let out an annoyed huff as she reached for a banana and angrily chomped down, "I swear if she tries anything today, I'll-"

Zoe placed her hand on her sister's shoulder, "Calm down, nothing will happen, its just a small film, there's no need to stress."

Chloe calmed down slightly from the comfort and sighed as she took another bite from her banana, "Fine, but don't say I didn't warn you guys." She waved her banana at the both of us before she left the trailer.

Shooting was about to start and the rest of the actors laid on the ground about to set the scene. Nino shouted action and Zoe and I got into character. I stepped into camera, opening my mouth, ready to say my line before...

"Cut!"

Alya looked away from the monitor, "Sorry, but lighting just seems a bit off, can we add a little more in this side, we don't want it to look so gloomy."

Chloe stood from her chair, "But that's what the scene needs, a gloomy atmosphere." She threw her arms out, waving her half eaten banana in the air, "Everyone is asleep, all hope seems lost, the set and the environment should evoke that emotion!"

The head producer sighed, "It's Alya's call, as the producer, she can change what deems right. Just think of it as a revision."

Chloe clenched her jaw and chomped off another part of her banana, "Revision, my ass."

Everyone got situated again, starting back from the top. I walked back to my starting position before I looked at Chloe who angrily munched on her banana, grabbing another one from the fruit basket beside her.
