Heart Hunter
"Okay, the flower wall goes there, and the dessert table will be set up there, and- NO, the chocolate fountain!" Chloe ran over to the struggling employees and helped them with the large machine. "Okay we'll put it here and set down in 3..2..1.."
Chloe straightened up and stretch, cracking her back. "That was a close one."
I smiled as I watched the stylist do her thing. it wasn't long before we realized that her love for style can be branched out to more than just fashion, she dabbled in interior design as she helped redecorate my room, and now has become a master at event planning.
I chuckled as she got to work waving her down when she looked in my direction. When we met eyes she lightened up, "Oh, Y/N, you're here! What do you think?" She gestured to the room which was decked out in reds and whites.
"The red and white roses signify unity and the baby's breath represents everlasting love." She showed me the flower arrangements she picked out and I couldn't help but smile.
She grinned, "Oh and that's not all! Come with me." We headed to the rooftop to find it adorned in white. Fabrics hung along the railing with roses topping each pillar, the pool was now filled with white and gold balls and at the end showcased a beautiful white piano.
I gasped, "You are planing my wedding."
Chloe giggled, "I'm glad you like it, I hope my parents and the guests do too." He looked down shyly while I placed a hand on her shoulder, "I'm sure they will. This is amazing, Chloe."
She smiled, "Thanks. Now let's get back and welcome the guests!"
One by one, the guests began to file in... all people of high society of course. I followed Chloe as she did her rounds, bidding them all a welcome before meeting up with Adrien who had just arrived with Nathalie.
"Adrien!" I exclaim as we walked over to him, he smiled and opened his arms for me to go and hug, "Hey Princess," He then turned to Chloe, "You really did an awesome job, Chloe. It looks amazing."
There was a sparkle in Chloe's eye from the compliment. "You really think so!" Adrien nodded and she smiled before greeting more guests.
I glanced to Nathalie, giving her a hello, before noticing she was alone. "No dad today?" I whisper leaning close.
Adrien shook his head, "Said he'd be too busy."
I scowled, "Too busy scheming." I gave him a remorseful look before trying to cheer him up again, "Hey! Why don't we get some desserts and head to the rooftop, it's so cute!"
Adrien smiled, "Sure, I'd like that."
We then headed over to the dessert table and piled high on food when Gabriel, who was here through a FaceTime on Nathalie's tablet, offered the celebrating couple a unifying cloak.
Yeah, that thing is a get along shirt.
Chloe walked over and sighed, "It already took me so long for the two to stop fighting for the ceremony, now this had to happen?! I swear I'll-"
I held onto her shoulders and gave her a calming massage, "You did what you can, so why don't we all head to the rooftop and cool down, yeah?"
Adrien picked up an extra plate of food for Chloe and lead the group, "Don't worry, everything will turn out fine." Chloe sighed, "Yeah, I hope so."
We all headed for the rooftop until Adrien's bodyguard stopped in front of us. He groaned as he crossed his arms.
I looked back at him with a smirk before feigning fear, "Oh what's that!" I say with widened eyes and a heightened voice, "Is that an akuma?" I pointed to the window opposite of us and sure enough he looked.
