After spending 2 hours straightening your hair, doing your makeup, and picking the perfect "travel outfit" which was equally cute, not too revealing, and comfortable. You were sitting on your couch, bouncing your legs and waiting as patient as you could for the "I'm here." text from your boss.

Your bags were packed up and you fit the most amount of clothing possible into your pink suitcase, which matched your pink and white tote bag, monogrammed with your name on it.

Your searched through your tote bag for your lipgloss, second-guessing your soft pink matching sweatsuit, as your phone lit up on the couch arm next to you, it was him, he was here.

You stood up, grabbing your phone and tossing your bag on your shoulder, before wheeling your suitcase out and locking your house door, turning to see Mr. Miller waiting for you, standing outside of his black shiny massive Volvo, he was wearing black slacks and his signature dark blue button-up, glasses perched on his perfect nose.

The road was dark, the sun had yet to rise and the early spring air felt chilly on your skin.

"Hi," you smiled, wheeling your bag in front of him.

"Hi. Wow, I could have guessed you would have packed a lot, but a suitcase for 4 days? You always seem to take me by surprise." He grinned, reaching for your suitcase and tucking it into the back seat.

He walked around to open the passenger door, you sat down and placed your pink tote onto the floor of the car. You were a little surprised why Mr. Miller hadn't walked to the drivers side yet, and just about as you were going to question him, he reached over you, grabbing your seatbelt and buckling you in.

He hesitated before closing the door, taking a long look at you in his passenger seat, then shutting the door softly.

Your heart started to race, this was gonna be a very long drive together.

He got into the drivers side, putting the key in the ignition and pushing his glasses up his nose.

"I feel a little underdressed, sir. I was under the impression the dress code for this road trip would be casual." you giggled, looking again at his formal attire.

He let out his signature chuckle. "This is casual for me, sweetheart."

"Oh, okay. Nevermind then." you laughed, turning your attention to the road in front of you as he began the drive.

You had been in the car for three hours at this point, you had begged him to stop for drinks twice, a snack once, and a gas station for you to pee at three times.

He would have normally refused any requests like this, but you were different. He would do anything for you.

"So... if you were a fruit, what kind of fruit would you be? Oh-- nevermind, better question, if you were an animal what kind of animal would you be?" you smiled, nails tapping on your coffee cup.

He smiled, he loved when you asked your odd questions, mainly because he just loved hearing you laugh, but he also loved getting the chance to ask you the same questions back, being grateful for the opportunity to learn more about you.

"Um... no one has ever asked me that before." He smiled, one arm resting on his window ledge, running a hand through his hair.

"Okay, well. If I was fruit I think I would be a strawberry, or maybe a raspberry, and animal... hmm... probably a bunny, or like a hamster maybe." you continued, running a hand through your hair as he looked over at you.

He loved watching you ramble, you looked beautiful in his passenger seat. You were glowing this morning-- the morning light was shining behind your window, illuminating your silhouette, making you look truly angelic.
