your pov

today was father's day, and currently it was 5;45 am, and you were sprawled out on the bathroom floor, watching the timer on your phone.

you think you're pregnant, with your second child. you're trying to be quiet as to not wake up your 2 and a half year old daughter, sophie who was luckily still asleep.

you just felt pregnant, you knew you were pregnant. it felt exactly how it felt when you were pregnant with sophie.

the timer went off and you lifted off the plastic piece off the pregnancy test. 2 lines! you were pregnant.

your hand shot to your mouth, and you tried to conceal the sounds of your happy tears. you got to have another little baby.

you and joji had always wanted kids, and once you had sophie, you both decided you wanted more.

you heard sophie's cry's coming through the baby moniter and you quickly hid the test and stood up, wiping your tears and walking past a sleeping joji to sophie's room.

you opened the door to reveal sophie, "good morning baby" you smiled, picking her up and out of her crib. she smiled and started talking in little babbles.

you changed her quickly and started getting her dressed for the day. you put her in a little pink dress and got her socks on.

you brought her to the bathroom and sat her down on the counter, and grabbed her toothbrush. "open" you smiled, and sophie opened her mouth and you started brushing her teeth.

then you grabbed an elastic and a comb. you turned sophie around so you could do her hair. "do you know what day it is baby?" you smiled, brushing out sophie's curls.

"nu uh" she replied, picking the bottom of her dress. "well, it's father's day, so we get to give dada some presents!" you grinned, putting sophie's hair into french braids.

"you wanna go make breakfast with me for dad soph?" you grinned, grabbing her tiny hand. "yeah! for dada" she grinned. and you walked hand in hand to the kitchen.

you brought out all of jojis father's day presents, a homemade card from sophie, some new clothes, and finally, the pregnancy test which you had to configure into a gift.

you started cracking some eggs in a pan and placed sophie in her high chair, facing you so she wouldn't get bored.

you gave sophie some raspberry and she started those while you finished breakfast. after setting the table, you put all the gifts by jojis plate and picked up sophie to go wake up joji.

she ran up the stairs and down the hall, her pink dress flying behind her. "up mama" sophie pleaded, you nodded and scooped her up, placing her on the bed next to joji.

sophie crawled over to him and started wiggling herself into jojis arms. he chuckled and opened his eyes. "morning soph" he smiled, hugging her close.

"happy dada's day!" sophie grinned, "morning babe" you smiled, leaning down to kiss him. joji grinned and kissed back.

"there's breakfast and presents downstairs so you can bring her down when you're ready" you grinned, kissing sophie's head and heading back downstairs.

you grabbed the pregnancy test and wrote the card. you hid it and decided to give that to joji last.

you started getting sophie her juice when you saw sophie, giggling in jojis arms. she loved her dad very much.

"thank you for making breakfast and getting sophie ready, i couldn't even dream of doing that in one morning" he laughed, setting sophie down in her chair.

"happy father's day, joj" you smiled, giving sophie her juice and settling into my chair. half way into breakfast sophie got whiny in her chair so i moved her onto my lap.

"you ready for presents now?" i grinned, "definitely" joji smiled, "alright" i laughed, handing sophie to joji, so i could get the gifts.

i placed the bags on the table infront of joji, and sat back down next to them. he pulled out sophie's card.

"did you make this for me, soph?" joji grinned, sophie nodded, smiling. "it's really pretty doll, thank you" he smiled, kissing sophie's forehead.

joji went through all his other presents, the clothes, the laptop and some other little things.
"thank you, both of you. i don't know what i would do without you girls" joji smiled, looking at me and sophie.

"oh, there's one more thing" you smiled, your heart racing one hundred miles a minute. you pulled out the card and handed it to joji.

he looked at you and then opened the card, and started reading out loud. "dear love of my life. thank you, thank you for falling in love with me, thank you for marrying me, and being the best husband the world has ever seen, and being the best dad in the entire world. i couldn't do it without you. we are so blessed with sophie, and we are so lucky we get to see her grow every day. so, we are going to be really really lucky soon....." he read, and i could swear i saw tears.

"what does that mean?" he muttered, smiling lightly, "well..." you smiled, pulling the test out of your pocket and placing it onto the table.

a confused look fell on his face, "is this the test you used for sophie?" he asked, picking up the test.

you bit your lip, shaking your head. "are you pregnant!?" he grinned, you smiled, nodding.
"are you serious! we get another one??" joji shouted, "y-yeah, i found out this morning" you smiled.

he shot up from the table, placing sophie onto the floor, a grin not leaving his face. he walked over to me and pulled me into a hug, i was trying my best not to cry, but some tears were falling out.

he pulled away just to pull me into a kiss. "i can't believe this! i'm so happy! oh my god" he blushed, picking up sophie.

"you're gonna be a big sister soph!" he grinned, pulling her into a hug.

after breakfast was cleaned up, we all changed then sat down in the living room, playing with sophie on the carpet.

joji wrapped an arm around me, "i can't believe we're having another one" he whispered, "i know, another little baby running around" you replied, grinning.

"i love you" he whispered, "i love you more".
and all you could think about was another sophie around, and how excited you were.
