Voldemort made his way towards the Forbidden Forest, his grin never leaving his face as he walked beside his beloved pet. Nagini slithered around him, hissing here and there at the terrified creatures hiding in the bushes. Once Voldemort saw his loyal supporters waiting for him in a form of a huddle, he felt this new sense of energy charge him. His supporters cowered as Voldemort stepped into the moonlit spotlight at the center of the formation, making his bald scaly head bounce off the continuous light onto the nearby trees.
"Now, now, my supporters," Voldemort announced. The forest stripped itself from any sound. "We are getting closer and closer to Harry Potter's end."
"Where is the boy?!" A giant with greasy red hair exclaimed behind a few Death Eaters. The giant had raised his arms in triumph but only raised them down when he felt the horrified stares from his friends instead of joining in on the celebration. "I'm sorry, my lord."
Voldemort only scolded him with a deadly look. "It is almost near, I could feel it." He walked just a couple of more paces towards the supporters, his arms stretched out in an embrace to the energy around him. He then started to chuckle, gaining the echoes of Bellatrix, a few Death Eaters, and the outspoken giant.
"I know most of you are wondering when he will get here," Voldemort imposed, nodding his head as a few werewolves sneered in response. "I will give him about an hour to come or else I will unleash all of you to them! HAHA! How does that sound?!"
The shrieks of laughter and excitement boomed throughout the forest, scaring away all the wild animals who had used the forest as their home. The poor animals knew what was about to come but they had no way of seeking refuge unless they ran as far away as they could. It was the only way for them to make it out of this alive. The werewolves shined their claws, picked at their yellow teeth as if trying to make a good impression to the people they will ultimately destroy. The death eaters feigned laughter and enjoyment as their buzz of conversation was getting increasingly louder by the second.
Only two death eaters seemed to be immobile. All the way in the back of the hurdle, where the shadows seemed to hide them, the two death eaters were standing shoulder to shoulder, their fingers barely missing each other.
"We can't... we don't know if it was her."
"I'm telling you that was her. It was her."
"I don't believe you." The death eater to the left mumbled, rubbing the end of his mask with his gloved hand. "She thinks we are dead, let's keep it that way."
"But she saw me," the other replied, her tone assertive. "I need to know where she is."
"And what? What do you think is going to happen? She's going to come straight into your loving arms? Oh, mom! Where have you been? Why did you abandon me?"
There was silence from the other death eater.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to..."
"She looks just like me... My daughter..."
"No, stop it. Stop. Don't do this, please. He will kill us if he found out we are disobeying him."
The death eater frowned, her shoulders slumped forward. "It has been years since I last heard of her. I do not have it in me to let her go through this alone."
"You told me she was with the... with the boy."
"He's going to be dead in an hour. He won't be enough to protect her."
The death eaters ahead of them started to notice the conversation occurring a couple of hundred feet behind them. The two death eaters quickly brought out their wands and feigned having a conversation about the spells they have mastered to each other. One nosy death eater still kept their ear on them, but hearing the same talk of spells and curses, the death eater went further into the crowd.
