But this time I didn't and I really hope anyone reading this likes the story so far. If you have any suggestions or improvements please tell me so I don't look back at this is a few years and have a cringe attack. Please vote if you have been enjoying the story! Bye!

Sam's POV:

So I guess she really was gone. The first time I fall in love and it's with a serial killer. When I had woken up that morning I realized that I would most likely never see her again. Unless she keeps her promise of visiting me. We never even got to have a real conversation. I don't even know her favorite color. I laughed to myself. It's most likely red.

I was sitting at the table reading when Don came home. He looked at me and sighed. "Why are you still here? I thought you had to leave yeterday." I put down the book at looked up at him. "Because, someone was expecting me to be here." Well, that was a lie but it's not like Charlotte could find me anywhere expect for here. Wait, then how did she even know I was at this house? Another question to ask her.

Don looked at me confused. Of course. He never just drops the subject. And here it comes, "Who? Is it Lauren? Are you guys getting back together?" I rubbed my eyes. "No. It wasn't Lauren. It was...someone. It's not your business." Don sat down across from me. "Well if you're gonna live here you have to tell me things." Ugh. "Fine. It's just a girl that I met no big deal." I stood up.

"Really?!" Don is pretty much obsessed over my love life. "Yeah. But she's gone so it doesn't matter." I began walking upstairs. He tried to follow but I just waved him away. I walked up to my room and closed the door. I laid down on my bed and closed my eyes.

After falling asleep in a quiet house I was surprised to be woken up by noise. There was a constant tapping at my window. Over and over again like someone was throwing rocks at the window. I got up and ran over to the window. Opening it as a rock hit my face. "Ow." I said peering out into the darkness. "Sorry," said two voices. One was unfamiliar but the other I could recognize anywhere.

"Charlotte?!" I whisper yelled. The other person then spoke up, "Hey what am I rotting corpse?" Charlotte laughed and I felt a pang of jealousy. I shook it off. We aren't even dating, and you don't even know what's going on right now. Suddenly there were two other people in the room. Charlotte and a tall, lean guy about our age. He had a mask on so I couldn't see his face and he had a black hoody on with black jeans. Charlotte was dressed the same but without a mask.

She did however have a small heart carved into her skin under her left eye. "Cute huh?" She said catching me staring. I blushed lightly, "Yeah really cute." They both looked at each other nervously. I narrowed my eyes. "So what's going on exactly?" Charlotte looked over at me. She walked over and sat in front of me. She looked into my eyes, "Maksy and I are here to kill you." What?!

I moved back quickly moving my gaze between them. The guy-Masky- looked exited while Charlotte looked sad and scared. Masky leaned over and whispered something into Charlotte's ear and she nodded. He then jumped out of the window. Charlotte moved closer to me. "It's ok right now. I can't kill you." She held up her knives and threw them out the window. "Hey!" Masky called from below.

She ignored him and I relaxed. "Look, I'm sorry," she began silently crying. "About dragging you into this mess. Slender Man says you have to be killed because we can't cross paths and if we do we might kill everyone and I'm just really so-" I grabbed her wrist and pulled her into a hug. She was quiet. I could feel her shuddering from sobs.

I stroked her hair until she stopped crying. Us just sitting there holding each other was nice. She was comforting me and I was comforting her. Was I really about to die? I actually have to go through with this. Her killing people used to feel like a game but now it's defiantly real. I felt her move.

She was looking up at me. Our faces were centimeters apart. She reached up and kissed me. I was surprised and happy. I kissed her back. I forgot everything that was going to happen in a few minuets and just kissed her. I guess she did like me. And I hoped that she loved me just as much as I did. "Are you done saying good bye yet? Geez? " Masky called.

Charlotte pulled away. I smiled at her. She blushed and stood up. "Again I'm sorry. I will see you again. No matter what happens just remember that." She leaned over and kissed me again. She then ran over to the window, looked at me and waved good bye. I laid down, waiting. Masky appeared in the room again. He nodded grimly and I nodded back.

And just like that I was gone.
