Ch. 21: Watching Home Sweet Home

"Alright, onto the fun stuff." Mr. Hardcore said.

"And traumatic. Mainly for Luz and possibly Amelia, but still." Jss2141 said.

"I know but they'll be fine." Mr. Hardcor3 said.

"You know how much I like Amelia, it still hurts messing with my favorite character." Mr. Hardcore said.

"I know but that doesn't mean you don't like seeing some of them squirm." Jss2141 said.

"Guilty as charged." Mr. Hardcor3 said before beginning the next chapter/episode.

Coming out of the portal, everyone was surprised to find themselves NOT in the demon realm, but in an entirely new realm!

"Did... did we make a wrong turn?" Luz asked

"I don't know, aren't portals just supposed to be one way?" Camila asked.

"Usually, yes, but this is an old portal gate. Maybe age has made it glitchy?" Hunter questioned.

"The real question is where exactly did it dump you children?" Adrian asked, crossing his legs.

It was abstract, yet seemingly small, consisting of a nebulous space occupied by a black reflective pool on both surfaces of the dimension. In the pools themselves are structures of iridescent, abstract architecture stretching upward, forming a continuous canyon, while black cubes float from the bottom pool toward the pool raised above.

'Wait, I recognize thy place!' Luz thought in shock and awe.

"What the fuck?!" Gus shouted in shock, his voice echoing through the mystery realm.

Mr. Hardcor3 leaned over.

"I don't know if this was a typo or not, but we're keeping it in." He said.

"Yep." Jss2141 said.

"GUS!" The Hexsquad said in shock of the youngest member cursing.

"BAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Boscha laughed, holding her stomach.

"I didn't do it! Well, future me did but I didn't!" Gus said with his hands up.

"And you won't or else I'll scrub your potty mouth out with soap and water!" Camila scolded Gus.

Who quickly covered his mouth.

"Yes, ma'am!" Gus mumbled through his hands.

Camilla them put the "Mom Glare" away, much to everyone's relief. Especially Eda.

'Damn, I'm getting flashbacks.' Eda thought.

"Hey, language!" Camila said.

"I have to agree with Gus! What is this place?!" Willow asked, huddling close to Hunter.

Which caused the duo to blush in the audience.

"Is this the Boiling Isles?" Hunter asked in fear.

"No, it's not. I've been here before. This was where I was when I learned about Vee." Luz said, looking around before pointing to one of the floating cubes. "All you have to do is say a name and you see them in the cubes."

"Just like the Scrying Spell." Lilith said, taking notes in this new realm.

"I have a bad feeling about this." Amity said lowly.

The young Blight didn't know how right she was.

Amity suddenly got an idea.

"Hmm, maybe my old grudgby team." Amity said, looking to one of the cubes. "... Amelia!"
