When my time comes around, lay me gently in the cold dark earth. No grave can hold my body down. I'll crawl home to her.

AS QUICKLY AS THEY had reunited, Casey and Murphy were separating again. It was the story of her life. Eventually, Casey would be separated from those that she loved either by forces beyond her control or circumstance.
⠀⠀⠀At least this time, it wasn't due to some tragic event that they were pulled into different directions, but that he was (somewhat) needed. After Luna's people died from radiation and her surviving, Abby seemed to believe there was a chance to their survival in her blood. They wouldn't need a fully-sealed bunker if their bodies could naturally work through the radiation. Just enough shelter to get them through the worst of the storm. Abby was taking her to Becca's Island, and had then asked Emori and John to help get her there.
⠀⠀⠀Casey would stay at Arkadia, along with their mom, given that Casey didn't have that much she could offer the team by going with them. Not that she had much for Arkadia either, but Bellamy had agreed to let her join a short hunting trip with him and Stevens. It'd let her stretch her legs and keep her from going stir crazy. She liked helping Niylah, despite the queasiness she still felt seeing an animals guts on a table, but Kara's haughty attitude stomping all over the place drove her to the edge.
