Chapter 7
Ashlynn POV
Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening
Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village, though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.
My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.
He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.
The woods are lovely, dark, and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

The last part of the poem always seemed to sneak its way into my head, but today being up at five in the morning reading the poem it felt more important like there was a reason why I was drawn to sneak out of bed and read one of Danny's many poem books. I was more then surprised when I snuck over to his book shelves to find that all of the books filling the two ceiling high book shelves were all poetry. He didn't seem like that person to me, but like its always said don't judge a book by its cover. One book stood out to me the most out of the collection, but I knew better then to touch it. It was a leather bound book with no title that sat on the coffee table. It was obvious that it wasn't a normal book, but some sort of private book. So making sure to not invade his privacy I grabbed a Robert Frost book and curled in one of the big chairs. I let each one of the amazing lines carry my thoughts away and I became absorbed in to the beautiful writing.
"We really need to work on you not leaving me alone every morning." Danny approached me and the chair. If he didn't say anything I honestly wouldn't have noticed him. "We could get you a cat. That way you can sleep with him." Danny narrowed his eyes trying to act serious. I let out a sigh of understanding. "I'm making progress at least this time I'm still in the room." I laughed and soon he joined in. "Yeah, I see that. Progress is always good, but maybe tomorrow I could wake up and actually find you still in bed with me?" I looked up at his shining mossy green eyes. "No promises, big boy." I jumped off the chair leaving the book I was reading on the table. With that I ran to the bathroom and started the shower. "Really, you chose Robert Frost over me." He joked through the door. "He's more...charming." I answered before getting in the shower. "Did you just call an old poet that has been dead for years charming?" Danny asked while walking into the bathroom and started getting ready, as well. "I think I did. It's easy to get lost in his writing." 'Sort of how I get lost in your eyes' My brain whispered but this time I caught myself before saying it out loud.
"Like the way I get caught in your eyes." Danny seemed to read my mind, but unfortunately for him he didn't catch himself. I shut the water off and wrapped a towel around me before throwing open the curtain shocked at what he just said to me. "You did not just say that." Danny stopped mid brushing his teeth and looked at me. Suddenly his eyes grew wide realizing he said his thoughts out loud. His face then heated up and blush crept across his defined features. Never had I seen him look so adorable until I saw him blush. He didn't look like an alpha or an eighteen year old senior in high school. He looked like he was suddenly very young, way to young to be running a pack. "Aww, you blush. That's so cute!" I cooed grabbing his cheek. "Ashlynn, stop." Danny turned even brighter with embarrassment. "But Danny your so adorable." He mumbled something under his breath about no good mates as he walked out of the room. I took that opportunity to slam the bathroom door shut. Quickly I threw on the dress I picked out for the day and walked out of the bathroom. "I'm not going to ask why you both walked out of the bathroom." Conner said standing at the door.
