Chapter 25
Brandon POV
The door to the lake house slammed open with so much force I was surprised it didn't come off the hinges. Conner and I were on the back porch and we just moved the last table into place. I knew who it was that baraged into the house before I even saw him. He stalked forward his eye's only held venom and anger as he approached me. He grabbed me by my shirt collar and through me against the wall. I wasn't fazed, Danny had done that to me so many times before. Conner didn't look nervous about it either, even though normal people would be freaking out when an Alpha from a different pack comes barging into your house and throws you up against the wall, but it was only Tyler and he wouldn't dare to hurt me if he expected Elissa to continue to talk to him.
"There better be a good explanation why my sister was just caught at the store buying a pregnancy test and you weren't with her." He growled mencly. Anger was pouring out of him in waves. "Tyler...Your sister and I haven't mated yet. It's not for her." I choked out. He dropped my shirt letting me fall to my feet. "That better be the reasoning." He hissed before turning away back into the house. I followed behind him because something he said caught my attention. "Tyler why did you say, and I wasn't with her?" He turned around to face me and sheepishly rubbed the back of his neck. "I've came up with the realization that you two are mate's and will complete the mating bond, so if she gets pregnant it happens, but you better be with her every step of the way. I will not have my sister thinking she all alone if that happens and I know she sure the hell won't come to me."
HE APPROVED OF US!! I wanted to scream and dance right then and there. Heck I could have kissed him I was so excited. I was going to mate with her weather he approved or not but him approving makes it a lot easier. "Stop looking at me like I'm Santa Claus!" Tyler hissed giving me a concern look. "I'm sorry, I've just never been so excited before." I said giving him a smile. "Good?" Tyler said surprised. He then walked to his vechial to get the supplies that Alix already started bringing in. Tyler and I were bring in the last of everything, when my father pulled up. "Guess who I just talked to and why I so proud of you?" My mother gaushed as she stepped out of the car. Tyler tried to stop his laughter when she ran up to me and pinched my cheeks but he couldn't help it. "Were is your cousin?" My father asked ignoring my mother. "Mine?" Andrew asked from the porch. "No, I know where Danny is. Where is Conner?" "Him and Alix are inside setting up table clothes." Tyler answered for me. My father gave him a quick nod before walking into the house.
"So why is it your proud of me and who did you see?" I asked once my father was gone. "We saw the girl's at the store. We were all there to get the same thing." My heart stopped a little, my father knew. That's not good, not at all. "How's Dad?" "Better then Danny and Ashlynn." "How's Ashlynn?" My mother gave me a sheepish grin. "Let's just say your sister's temper is worse then yours, your father's and Danny's combined when she is scared and worried." "Oh God, what did she do?" I asked holding my face. That is a lot of anger for a little body like hers. "She threw a lamp at Danny and then a side table at your father." Tyler and I simultaneously started choking on air. "She did what?" "How did Dad take that?" "Ask him, I left the room way before that happened." With that my mother left leaving me and Tyler still standing there. "So she figured out she was pregnant?" Tyler asked as we began walking into the house. "Yeah, how did you know?" "I could smell it on Wensday when she came over." "Why didn't you tell anyone?" I asked angry. It could have saved a lot of trouble.
"It wasn't my place. If they still didn't know in a week or two I would tell them, but if I'm right she's only a week pregnant." He explained. "You are have a big medical understanding for an Alpha." My father said walking to where we were standing in the kitchen. "Yeah, well before my parent's died I spent a lot of my time with the pack doctor. Now I can't even set foot in the pack hospital without almost having a mental brake down." He said easily before walking way to blow up balloons. My father still stood there. "Let's go for a walk." He said casually, but I knew he had to tell me something. I nodded and began walking with him down to the lake.
