Ashlynn POV

It was like they thought I couldn't hear them. The whispered questions and hushed tones were following me around for the whole day. The rest of April vacation was uneventful compared to the beginning, but sadly I can't say the same about the first day back to school. When I pulled in the morning with Conner, the whispers began. Even though we were friends Conner would never bring me to school before, he didn't even now where I lived. Then the questions just grew when I ran up to Elissa and Tyler. We grew really close during the rest of the week, me, Elissa and Mia, that is. To add to this my whole schedule was changed, so I was in almost all Danny's classes and the one without him I was with Conner and Brandon. Oh and Dave had my last name legally changed to his, so that was something that was going around the school too. The last and most crushing of all of it was Danny wasn't there. He had to go pick up the girl from the Airport, but told me he didn't want me missing the first day back. Stupid butt face of a mate.

The whisperes and questions were all around me as at sat at study in the Cafeteria. The table was full of people I never would imagined I would be friends with. Conner, Mia, Brandon, Paul, Brook, Elissa, Tyler and his Beta, Alix, all sat at the table with me. I looked at the door for the twentieth time in the last five minutes. Danny said he would be at school by study, which was second to last block, and I couldn't wait to see him. "Chill Ash. He'll get here." Conner scolded. "Oh don't tell me to chill." I commented throwing the dry cearal at him. It missed him though and sadly hit the supervisor in the head. She turned around facing me with narrow eye's. "May I help you miss Black?" "Actually, ma'am it's Elion." Elissa said flashing her one of her brilliant smiles, that all adults adore. "My bad." The supervisor said before walking away. As soon as she was out of hearing distant our table broke into laughter. "I don't know how you do it?" "She's just that perfect." Brandon responded kissing her cheek. As a blush crept on her cheeks the back of Tyler's hand made contact with Brandon's head. "Watch it." Tyler warned.

Brandon rolled his eyes before turning his attention back to the homework in front of him. "Stupid homework." "Why didn't you do it while you were on vacation?" I asked as he glared at the book. If his glare got any more venomous the book would have randomly combusted. "Yeah, Ash because I had all the time in the world to do work after Tuesday." "Don't blame Ashlynn for you getting in trouble. Your the idiot that put yourself in the situation." Elissa scolded. Conner chuckled only to get hit by me. "Your not that much better Mr." "Yeah, but my father isn't as brutal as your's." "I'll tell him that." I gave Conner a wicked grin as he paled. "Andrew definitely got it worse though. My father and Danny's that just brutal." Brandon shook even at the idea of it. "He comes whinning to me every night, it's sad, but you three deserve it." Mia added in. "Hey, I had no idea, unlike Conner." Brandon defended himself and threw the attention off of him. "Don't give me that. It's not like I knew she was going to put the alcohol in the drink." "Conner, if you know that someone is highly allergic to alcohol, especially because you almost killed her once, you should alert someone." Alix scolded.

"Let's talk about something else. It's harshing my mood." Mia demanded. I got board with the conversation and Danny was still no where to be found. So being the great student I am, I pulled out the rest of the weeks homework and started working on it. The one good thing about the class switch was it was all the same classes and teacher's just a different period. "Oh, now look who hadn't done her homework." Brandon teased. "That's this weeks homework you, idiot." Elissa said hitting his shoulder. They were such an adorable couple. Tyler approved of them, in only some situation. They still haven't mated, yet and I doubt that will for a while. My thoughts then travelled to the day Danny and I first mated, the night he marked me. Though all the other times were just as perfect that one was implanted into my head.

I thought I was imanging it when Dannys scent filled the room. Just to make sure that I was imanging it, I turned to the door. I couldn't have been more wrong. Danny was standing in the doorway wearing my favourite shirt of his and perfect hugging jeans. He held a light blue sweat shirt in one hand and his eyes were glued to where I was sitting. Without thinking twice, I jumped out of my seat and sprinted to him. His arms automatically cradled my body as I jumped into them. Before I could say what I wanted to he captured my lips with his. "Excuse me, alpha." The supervisor' s voice made us pull apart. I burried my head in his chest as they spoke. I missed him so much and it was only for a few hour's. "The Principal would like to speak to you as well as Alpha Tyler." "Okay, We'll go see him."
