Ashlynn POV

Thursday night, was something else. It was interesting explaining the first wolf story to everyone in the pack as well as explaining about how the king was visiting. We didn't mention anything about the childern, but made sure to settle them in bedrooms. I knew Danny wasn't going to let them go back to the kings dungeon or even under his rule. He was going to do everything in his power to keep them safe and change the cruelty of the rein his grandfather held. I could tell by the glint in his eyes and how worked up he got about it, he was going to make an amazing ruler. I knew the last thing he wanted to do was be a king and except his royal blood, but he was destined to be ruler and some time's its impossible to change destiny.

As for Friday it was honestly, the first normal day I ever had. I got sick in the morning, but still managed to convince Danny to let me go to school. School was uneventful, but definitely relaxing hanging out with my friends and not thinking about everything that was really going on. It was a perfect, peaceful normal day. So, that brings us to Saturday the day of my eighteenth birthday.

The glare of the suns beams broke though the thick navy blue curtains shattering my peaceful slumber. "Good morning, baby." Danny said as he set a sweet kiss on my four head. My eye's fluttered open meeting his hunter green eyes. "Hi, what are you doing up?" I murmured looking at him. The crisp dark blue polo he was wearing made him look unbelievably sexy as he stood beside me, while I was still snuggled in the bed. "Giving the world's most beautiful girl, breakfast in bed on her birthday." He sat a neon pink tray in front of me. French toast, fruit salad, bacon, and huge glass of Apple juice filled the tray. "Aww, see and here I thought it was Megan Fox's birthday." I joked giving him a sheepish smile.

He chuckled and jumped over me, sitting on the other side of me on the bed. "No, love your defiantly more beautiful." "Oh, yeah and your a huge dancing purple Penguin, with a top hat." Danny's eyes got huge and his hand went flying to his mouth in mock surprise. "Really, and here I went through life believing that I was just a giant crazy Alpha werewolf." I giggled watching him. "Nope, your a crazy purple penguin." I flashed him all of my teeth, before looking down at my food. Danny reached over and stole a piece of pineapple. "Hey, that's my food." I whined giving him puppy dog eye's. "Sorry, Crazy purple penguins got to eat too." He joked.

Suddnely there was a bagging on the door, before it came flying open. Danny's first reaction was to growl, at who ever rudely baraged into the Alpha's room, but they didn't seem effect one bit. Brandon, Conner, and Andrew just ran right in the room and ran right to me. "Ash, it's your birthday!" They yelled in unison. "I know, it is, but why did you guy's just barrage in here?" I asked confused. "Cause it's your birthday!" Mia yelled running into the room, with Elissa and Lauren following. The three girl's hands were all filled with balloons and presents. Everyone, including Danny had wide grins on there face while staring at me. "HAPPY Birthday!" I couldn't help but giggle.

Everyone stayed in the room watching me after that. They pulled over chairs and found spots sitting on mine and Danny's bed. "Come on, Ash you got presents to open!" Mia giggled happily trying to shove presents at me. "Guys you didn't have to get me anything." "Oh, shut up and open them." Elissa hissed, but had on a teasing smile. "Can I eat the amazing food first?" "Fine, but eat while you open gifts." Mia insisted. So Danny moved the food over and Mia placed a bag on my lap. The Bag was hot pink, with neon yellow trim and lime green tissue paper sticking out of it. I knew just by the color of the bag, that it was from Mia. It was just so bright. "Before I open this, I have to ask. Nothing is in this bag, that is going to highly humiliate me, right?" She didn't say anything but flashed me an innocent smile. Sighing in defeat, I started removing the tissue paper, but stopped dead in my tracks when I peaked into the bag.
