Chapter 36
Ashlyn POV
My body was shaking with need of keeping this up. The sweat was getting disgusting as it poured off of my head finding its way into my mouth completely grossing me out. My muscles were yelling at me to stop to quite while I was ahead but that wasn’t much of an option. Lauren’s father was barking at me every five seconds but the intensity of the pain was to high for me to notice a word that he was saying to me. This was a normal training for me, now. Melody was exactly a year old now, yes a full year. It was crazy to think it was a full year sense I had my beautiful baby girl, but things were getting crazies ad being a new mother added to that. Danny’s grandfather kept in distance and didn’t once try to contact us, if he had Danny never told me about it. Lauren’s father officially joined our pack and both Mia and Lauren are now pregnant. Insane right? Elisa had finally moved to our pack as well, but by the end she was spending so much time at our pack that it didn’t matter anymore. Oh and Dave adopted those two cute girls that we found in the woods. He decided that he never got a chance to raise me as his daughter he wanted to try it out with those to. It’s actually adorable how sweet he is with them, and they aren’t even his own blood.
I guest the biggest thing that happened in a year though was the revolution movement. It all started the day that I found out I had the first wolf, however now it’s practically a whole uprising and that wasn’t because of me. Sure almost everyone in the magic world knows that the first wolf does exist now, and I guess in a way I was the reason for the movement, but it wasn’t anything that I tried to start. I hadn’t toured packs trying to get the to rise up against the king like I planned to do. Instead Danny and I just sat pack and took care of our beautiful baby girl. It’s amazing what hope can do. The moment that there was even a linger of hope that there was a way of escaping the kings grasp, everyone was rising up. Sure there were those still loyal to the king, however every day there is new people showing up wishing to join our battle or sending us emails about it. At this time there are over 35 packs across the world pledging to help us in the up rising. Out of 175 packs in the world t really isn’t a lot, however it’s a start. The longer that we wait and train the more packs that pledge and the stronger we get to over throw the monarchy.
“Sweet pea, why don’t you take a break?” Danny asked distracting me from the fighting movement I was just about to prefect. “I’m doing something.” I mumbled out before trying to start the movement again, but right as I kicked out my leg Danny stepped in front of me and grabbed my arm. “You need to drink and take a break.” He demanded his caring hunter green eyes glaring into me. “Danny I’m fine.” I answered but he shook his head not taking no for an answer. “You’ve got barely any sleep last night and have been training all morning, take a break.” I glared at him putting my hands on my hip and giving him a pointed look. “Whose fault is it that I barely slept?” “Yours for have such a sexy body.” He answered back cheekily placing his hands on my waist and tugging to him so we’re flushed against each other. I just laughed at him and fell into his embrace. It was good to know that much hadn’t changed about us. We were still head over heels in love with each other.
“Are you to going to continue standing in my training field interrupting us, or are you going to find another room?” Rob, Laurens father, asked with a smirk. “I’m thinking about trying for another baby.” Danny murmured against my skin making Rob burst into laughter. “Can you not do that in my field still?” I laughed shoving Danny off of me before looking at Rob brightly. “He already has a wonderful child and if he even thinks about the next one being created in this field I make it impossible for him to ever have children again.” Rob rolled his head back in a hoarse laughter fluttering from his lips in pure amusement. “You two are ridiculous.” He answered shaking his head before walking away. At first I didn’t understand why he walked away, but as soon as I turned to see Danny’s face I understood. His dark green eyes darkened with a deep desire that I knew all to well. “Why do you worried sweet pea?” He drawled out making my heart skip a beat. Before I even responded to him, I spun on my heels and run. Getting as far as away from him as I could with a laugh. Danny of course was right behind me the entire time I ran into the house. His strong arms just wrapped around my waist when I entered the kitchen. “I caught you.” He growled into my neck making a shiver run threw me. “You know what I’m going to do now?” Right as he asked that Ellisa walked in with a crying Melody. “Take care of your beautiful baby, she won’t stop crying.” Ellisa demanded lightly, she was so great with her.
