Danny's POV

Ashlynn's dinner was the best I have ever tasted in my life. The whole pack was seeming to enjoy the food, Conner and Brandon where even going on there fifth helping of the pasta. "Baby, why in the world is this so amazing?" I asked as I continued to stuff my face. Ashlynn giggled before shaking her head at me. "It's not that good, I had to substitute some ingredients and the bottom burnt a little while we were in the office." "Wait, it usually tastes better the this?" Conner had sauce across his face and spaghetti hanging from his mouth. "It doesn't matter if it usually does or not, I don't think any actually got into your mouth." Ashlynn's joke had Conners mom, Eva, looking over at him. "Conner, stop eating like an animal, we raised you better then that." She hissed at him. "But mom..." "Conner listen to your..."Wilson was in the middle of speaking when he turned his head to look at his son. "For goodness sake, your eighteen and Freddy who's three isn't nearly as messy. You poor soul, Lauren." Wilsion stated shaking his head. "I'm not that bad, right love?" Conner turned his attention to Lauren and went in to kiss her cheek. Lauren pushed him away before he could kiss her. "Conner your covered in sauce." She yelled. "Do you not like sauce?" He asked his eyes growing wide. "Well besides the fact I don't want it all over me, I'm allergic to tomatoes." His face dropped and he looked down at his hands. "Oh."

Ashlynn jumped from her chair and ran to the fridge. "That reminds me." She exclaimed as she pulled out a salad full of every vegetable, besides tomato and had freshly grilled chicken on top. I don't even know when she made that, I must have been really sidetracked. "Oh you didn't have to, I was just going to make a sandwich later." Ashlynn wouldn't take no for an answer and put it down in front of her. "Oh stop being crazy and eat." She ordered and then sat back at my side. I swear if my smile grew any wider it would have cracked. I couldn't have been anymore proud of her, she was acting like the perfect Luna, making sure everyone was taken care of and not taking no for an answer. I noticed my father had a similar look and smile stretched across his face as well. He nodded his head in approval before going back to his third helping of food. I went to say something when my phone started going off.

"Hello?" I asked as both Ashlynn and I got up from the table. "Hey, Danny." "Oh, hey Tyler, hold on a minute." As I said Tyler's name everyone at the table seemed to perk up wanting to know what we were talking about. It was odd that as two Alpha's of different packs to be as close as we were, because of that all the adults seemed to always want to know what we talked about and why. I gave them all a nod before turning and walking out of the kitchen to my office. I dropped Ashlynn off at our bedroom and then walked to my office. Once I was securely in my office with the door shut is when I dared to actually speak to him. "What's going on?" "I just got an Email from your grandfather, that I think you should see." "That's weird, I got one earlyer, just haven't read it yet." "You probably should." I walked to my desk and set the phone on speaker, before clicking onto the Email that my Grandfather sent me.

Dear Danny,

I am happy to hear that you found your mate, it's sad that I had to find out by a person from your pack, but I guess that's what happens when we don't act like Grandfather and grandson. The picture that the girl sent me, is quite adorable and its unbelievable how much she looks like Dave. To imagine all this time, I thought it was Andrew with the wolf, but there's no way that girl has those looks and is not the first wolf. Anyways, I can't wait to see you and meet her when I do my tour of the area in a few weeks. I even planed it so I'll get to be there for graduation.

"Danny?" Tyler asked from the phone. "He knows." I said emotionlessly. I just didn't know how to feel. I felt numb. We had until the graduation, till everything would have to change. Until she was officially in more danger and I would be expected to take over a role as Prince. Not that I would want to, but I knew that it would be expected. "Wait he does?" "Yeah, isn't that what he sent in your email." "No, he just said that he was going to be going on tour in this area." Good, that meant we had more time and it was actually till graduation. "What are you going to do?" Tyler asked panicked. "I'm going to go spend time with my mate. Can we meet tomorrow?" "Yeah, the girl's are going out anyways, so if you want we can just have the meeting here." "Okay that's fine, thanks for the call Tyler." With that I hung up and looked numbly at the screen. I knew he was going to find out eventually, but it felt so soon. I just met her and had less then a month till she was going to be in danger and we were going to be the center of attention. Less then a month to prepare for our lives to be turned completely upside down.
