You two had known each other for ages - explains why both of your parents were so comfortable with you sleeping over at each other's houses all the time. They considered you part of the family. And the two of you - you and C/n - had a sleepover every weekend unless one of you had some kind of a special occasion (and sometimes even then, and you would just attend it together). It had become a tradition to have such sleepovers.
And it was also the reason why you find yourself in C/n's arms right now, feeling his heart on your back beating a little faster than normal and his nose and cheek brush against the side of your head as he moved slightly.
But this was too much of a time skip. Let's rewind.
Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
"What's your name?"
"Y/n."
"You're now my best friend, Y/n," said the h/c haired boy standing in front of you, shorter than you in your kindergarten era, although it was almost unnoticeable.
Oops. Too back in the past.
Let's move forward again.
Rrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
You rang the doorbell, not even bothering with any kind of a bag. Since you were at each other's houses so often, half of your stuff like clothes and hygiene were at his. Therefore, you never really needed to bring anything. You even kept a stash of pads/tampons in his bathroom cabinet in case of emergency.
A little more forward still.
Rrrrrrr.
There it is.
"So what movie do we want to watch?" He hopped on the bed and scooted over to one side to make room for you.
You threw your head back and groaned. "You know how much I hate picking movies."
You could hear the smirk even in his two-worded reply. "I do."
And surely, your assumption was correct. When you looked at him, finding him already looking at you with one eyebrow raised and leaning on his elbow against the mattress, a smirk was playing on his lips. You smashed a pillow into his irritably perfect face. "Jerk," you muttered under your breath.
"Your jerk," he corrected you. "And you love me for it." He shot another smirking look at you.
At this point, you didn't even bother to reply to him anymore. He adopted this new way of talking with you quite recently, calling you his or him yours, saying something flirtatious so nonchalantly as if it meant nothing. You only rolled your eyes. You still weren't sure whether he meant it seriously or no and there was absolutely no way you were going to ask. He'd never let you see the light of the day again if you did.
You could already hear his tone in your head, clicking his tongue at you, 'why, is it making you nervous? Are the butterflies in your stomach fluttering?'
Sure as hell wouldn't give him the satisfaction of using it against you. If he wants to call himself your jerk, then let it be. You actually were flustered inside anyway.
"What are you thinking about again this time, Y/n?" He threaded his fingers through your hair and pulled slightly, weaving the strands between his fingers and pulling you out of the trance.
"What movie to watch," you said quickly to not let him think anything.
His both eyebrows shot up, expectant. "Well...?" he pressed, his hand still tangled in your hair.
"I couldn't think of one though," you mumbled, losing the fight and avoiding eyes as the first one.
You heard him sigh jokingly and felt his hand pull away from you. He moved to his laptop and began scrolling through the list of recommended movies, closing his eyes and picking at random because in reality, he was just as indecisive as you. "There, this'll do?" He turned the laptop to you and showed you the movie - (Movie/name).
