Author's POV
Chapter: Where It All Feels Familiar
Setting: A Day Off in Seoul
The day after Jimin's birthday celebration, Hayoung and Nayoung were invited to spend a quiet day with Jungkook and Taehyung. No glam, no cameras — just the four of them, outside of the spotlight.
🍂 Jungkook & Hayoung — Bukchon Hanok Village
Jungkook took Hayoung to Bukchon — a preserved neighborhood filled with traditional Korean houses.
"I come here when I need to feel grounded," he said, walking beside her with a coffee in one hand and his hoodie pulled low. "It reminds me of where we came from."
Hayoung, dressed in a soft cream knit sweater tucked into high-waisted jeans and white sneakers, blended effortlessly into the charm of Bukchon — like a local, yet still someone you couldn't look away from.
As they strolled, a little Korean girl pointed at Hayoung and whispered, "언니 인형 같아 (Unnie looks like a doll)."
Jungkook chuckled. "Even kids agree — you're unreal."
Hayoung smiled, but quietly said,
"Sometimes I wonder... if I truly belong here. I'm not entirely Korean. Not entirely Indian. Always between two places."
Jungkook looked at her, thoughtful.
Then softly said,
"You don't have to belong to a place. You just have to belong to yourself. And... maybe a little to me, too."
She looked up, stunned — and for the first time, they held hands without thinking.
🎨 Taehyung & Nayoung — Art Museum & Han River Walk
Taehyung, on the other hand, took Nayoung to a modern art exhibit near Hangang, then a walk by the river.
"I wanted to show you two versions of Seoul," he said. "One where it speaks through paintings, and one where it whispers through water."
Nayoung wore a tailored blazer-dress, elegant but soft — the CEO, but relaxed. They strolled quietly, the spring wind teasing their hair.
She paused by the water and said,
"My mom used to talk about this place like it was a fairy tale. I never thought I'd walk here. And especially not with someone like you."
Taehyung looked over and smiled warmly.
"Maybe she knew one day her daughter would come back here. And find her own story."
Then he reached into his coat and pulled out a small notebook. Inside was a quick sketch: her, by the river.
He blushed. "It's rough. But it's my favorite so far."
Nayoung touched the page and whispered, "Then I'm keeping it."
📱 Back at Night — Messages Crossed Over
That evening, after they each returned to their Seoul house, two messages were sent almost at the same time:
From Jungkook:
"Next time... maybe we walk your hometown together?"
From Taehyung:
"I sketched something else. You, in red. Again. I think red might be my new favorite color."
