A New Distance — Misunderstandings Begin

📍 Scene: Nayoung Notices Something

It started with something small — a photo from Hayoung's shoot.

Rohan standing a little too close. His hand on her shoulder, casually but... lingering. The way his eyes watched her, not like a boss, but like something more.

And Hayoung — smiling, unaware.

Nayoung's eyes narrowed.

Later that week, she noticed it again. A brief message on Hayoung's phone:

📱 Rohan:
"You were glowing today. We should celebrate soon — just us."

Something twisted in Nayoung's stomach.
She'd held it in long enough.

☕️ Scene: The Conversation That Went Wrong

They sat on the rooftop café they both loved — overlooking Seoul's skyline, usually a place of peace.

Nayoung (carefully):
"Hey... I've been noticing how your boss talks to you. The way he looks at you."

Hayoung (laughing it off):
"Come on, Nayoung. He's always like that. It's just his style."

Nayoung (firm):
"No, it's not. That man doesn't just admire your talent, Hayoung. He wants you. And he's getting bolder."

Hayoung (frowning now):
"You never liked him. You've always had something against him."

Nayoung (sharply):
"Because I see him for what he is! You think you're in control but you're blind, Hayoung."

That stung.

Hayoung (coldly):
"Are you seriously judging me? You don't even know what you're talking about. You've never trusted my decisions."

Nayoung (quietly):
"And maybe you're not seeing the people who are trying to protect you."

They left in silence.
No apology. No hug. Just silence.

Nayoung's POV

I've always stood beside her. Always. But now? She's pushing me away — and he's sliding into the space I left open.

I can't sit here and watch her walk into something dangerous.
If she won't listen to me...
Maybe Taehyung will.

🗣️ Scene: Nayoung Tells Taehyung

They sat in his car, windows rolled down, the city lights stretching past the windshield.

Nayoung (quietly):
"Hayoung's boss... he's in love with her. And he's trying to manipulate her. She doesn't see it yet."

Taehyung (stiffens):
"Does Jungkook know?"

Nayoung:
"No. And she hasn't told him anything. He'll just misunderstand. But I'm scared this will spiral."

Taehyung was quiet, thoughtful.
Then he nodded slowly.

"I'll keep an eye on things. But we need to be careful. If Rohan's really that calculated, he'll make sure no one sees it coming."

Jung kook's POV – Doubts Growing

Lately, something felt off.
Hayoung kept her phone close, turned away when she texted. There were more photoshoots, more late meetings. Less time together.

And she wasn't cold — but... distant.

He didn't want to be the jealous boyfriend. He trusted her.
But trust was different than silence.
