Final Chapter – "The Family We Chose"

Author's POV

A week had passed since everything ended — since justice had been served, and Rohan's name became just another closed chapter in their lives.

At Taehyung's home, laughter filled the air again. The once-tense rooms now held joy, healing, and peace.
BTS had come to visit with arms full of fruits, gifts, and concern — though knowing them, their "visit" turned into a full dinner gathering.

Taehyung and Jungkook moved around the kitchen with Hoseok, while Jin took charge like a five-star chef. Hayoung and Nayoung sat together on the couch, smiling for the first time in days. The wounds were healing — not just the ones on the body, but the ones buried deep in their hearts.

And one by one, the boys' thoughts flowed — each one with their own emotion, their own promise.

Jin's POV

Jin stirred the soup slowly, his gaze occasionally drifting toward the living room where the girls sat.
He'd seen fear before — in others, in himself — but the fear of losing someone close... that was something he never wanted them to experience again.

He smiled faintly, the oldest hyung inside him speaking softly in his heart.

"From now on," Jin thought, "I'll make sure these kids laugh more than they cry. I'll cook for them, scold them, tease them — but I'll protect them like family. Because that's what they are now."

He chuckled under his breath, shaking his head. "And if anyone dares to hurt them again... they'll face Kim Seokjin, not just 'Worldwide Handsome.'"

Yoongi's POV

Yoongi sat on the side couch, pretending to scroll through his phone, but his eyes flicked toward Hayoung and Nayoung every now and then.

He wasn't one for big emotions — but seeing what those girls went through stirred something fierce in him.

"The world can be cruel," he thought quietly. "But these kids... they fought back. They didn't crumble."

A faint smile tugged at his lips. "That's real strength — not pretending you're fine, but finding your way back to peace."

He leaned back, whispering to himself,
"And if anyone ever threatens them again, I won't say a word. I'll just handle it my way."

His eyes softened. "Because family doesn't need loud promises. We just show up."

Hoseok's POV

Hoseok was dancing near the kitchen, as always — the room's energy. But behind his smile, his heart was heavy with empathy.

He remembered seeing Hayoung cry, Taehyung break down, Jungkook lose control. He'd seen it all, and it hurt him just as much.

Looking at them now — smiling, safe, laughing — he felt tears well up in his eyes.

"They made it," he thought proudly. "They actually made it through the storm."

Then he grinned wide, determination lighting up his face.

"From now on, I'll be their sunshine whenever life gets dark again. If sadness even dares to touch them, it'll have to go through J-Hope first."

He winked at Hayoung across the room, making her giggle, and the warmth returned to the house like sunlight breaking clouds.
