"I can't believe you two. Really I just praised you for being these amazing kids and now I see you guys doing this shit behind our backs. I don't approve of this." Adel's nose flared as she crossed her arms.

"Why is it such a big deal? We're not related so you can't exempt us from being happy too." Sierra retort back. Kenneth placed a calming hand on her arm "SiSi." He said in a warning tone, he didn't want her to say something way out of line and make it worse for herself.

"Because he's gonna be your step brother emphasis on brother. And I know you're not related but you could have at least had the decency to respect that. Don't you know what kind drama and gossip that's gonna cause?"

"Since when did you start worrying about what other people think of you. Oh and maybe we're both just attracted to the same kind of guy. I am my mother's child aren't I?" Sierra smirked at her mom. She knew that she was being rude to her mother but Adel was very hard headed and never liked when things didn't go her way.

"This little bitch." Adel said between gritted teeth. Steven had to quickly grab her before she tried to hit Sierra.

"Wait, please Ms. Adel don't be mad at Sierra. I was the one who wanted to start going out with her even though she tried to stop it many times. I know you may not like this but I love her, we love each other and I'm not saying that to spite you two but we know it's real. You guys don't have to make this such a big deal. There are a lot of stepfamilies that are like this."

"You know what Kenneth we are not one of them. Call us old fashion but this is not cool at all. What kind of stepfamily is dating each others family? That's sickening." He hissed.

"You know Dad, I don't care. And first of all, we're all grown adults, now if we were kids and we were dating I would understand your position. But it's not like people would notice, maybe only in this family. We got our own lives and careers no one is gonna care what we're doing."

"It's true, even Meema and grandpa is okay with us." Sierra pursing her lips, kind of scared of their reaction.

Both Adel and Steven were taken aback. "They knew about this?" Adel asked eyes burning with shock.

"Wow." Steven shook his head. Sierra didn't even understand why he was so mad, it's not like he really was family. And ever since Kenneth told her about his dad's past, she didn't have any remorse for him and by knowing the truth she could see the difference in him. It's like when you meet someone you think is so great, you never really know how deceiving they could be until you see the truth in them.

"Sierra can I talk to you in private?" Her mom asked staring only at her.

"Can't you say it in front of everybody?" Sierra retorted again.

"Sierra Minnie Williams, Don't piss me off any more than I am right now. Let's go." She pointed to the study.

Sierra took a deep breath and stood up. Kenneth gently took her hand in his and kissed it and let her go. Sierra then followed her mother and went into the study on the other side of the living room.

Oh, great now we both have to deal with a one on one conversation.

Sierra closed the door and crossed her arms.

"Sierra, I am so disappointed with you right now. I can't even put words to how I'm feeling right now. Why would you do this? For the first time in a long time I'm happy, then you have to go on fucking your stepbrother. You're always tryna ruin things. Ruin my life." She whispered shouted.
