Chapter 32

After talking to the elder witch, I gather everything that I wanted and needed. I grabbed the huge truck like and put everything almost everything that was in the room in the truck. Once I was done, Adrian dragged it down the hall and called Billy to come help him carry it to the truck.
As I went into the living room, I went to turn to say goodbye to the elder but she was gone. I called out to her a few times but nothing. It was like she disappeared out of thin air.
It kinda creeped me out a little but I didn't think too much to it.
As I done a 360 in the living room to get one last look of the house before going outside to meet up with the guys. Once I was done looking around, I took a deep breath and walked out the house closing the door and locking it. Saying my goodbyes for now.
As I was walking to the truck, I had saw Jenny walking down the road. I wanted to tell her name but didn't. I don't even know if she sees me or not. We were great friends but after her brother attacking at school she's slowly dying down on me. Basically distancing herself from me. But all I know she could be a vampire just like her brother.
I saw Adrian looked over at me from the corner of my eye. When I turned my head to look at him he was looking as Jenny as well for a second then looked back at me.

"You okay?" He asked me.
I nodded my head at him then walked over to the truck. "Just feel like my life is changing. More like my world is upside down and I can't turn it upside up."
"It will change over time, for the better. Trust me." He told me. "I use to say the same thing when my mother died. But I overcame it."
"How did you do that?" I asked as he opened the truck door for me.
"By becoming a better person." He said as he shut the door.

Once Adrian got into the truck the others followed suit. Then we were off towards town to do some shopping.

~Adrian's pov~

While driving into town to get some clothes for Cris, I had this crazy feeling about what the old hag had to say. I don't know if it was me feeling paranoid or what. I know I don't know anything about witches but I do know about vampires and they're not fun to deal with either.
As I was driving, I kept looking over at Cris. She was staring out the window, watching whatever that was going by. But all I could think of was to make out with her. Comfort her in every way, make her feel loved in all types of ways. But I know she's not feeling that about me right now.
But it's fine, I just want her safe from any harm. Even if I have to watch her like a hawk.
By the time we got into town, we went to one of the few shopping stores there were. I let her go in by herself to get what wanted while I stood outside with the guys and guarded the place.

"Adrian, so question?" Billy asked.
"What's up?" I asked him.
"Your mate?"
"What's about her?" I asked, as I done a slow 180 with my eyes.
"Are you she's the one? Like you're not acting like she's your mate." Billy brought up.
When Billy said they my wolf growled in my head and I snapped my head to look at him. "Excuse me." I said with a small growl.
"I'm just saying usually when we find our mates we go bat shit crazy and you're not even doing that."
"Because I'm trying not to scare her. She's half human. She don't feel the pull like we do. But she knows we're mates."
"And how does she know that?"
"Because the moon goddess had told her; herself. She talks to her in her dreams and sometimes in person. That's how she found out who we were and her ex boyfriend. I didn't even have to tell her we were werewolves." I said the last word softly with a growl.

Adam wasn't liking how this was going. He wanted to snap Billy's neck right here and then. It took everything inside of me not to pouch Billy or do anything stupid to him while we were in public. So I closed my hands into fists and held my hands down to my sides. He knew I was pissed because my eyes were shifting different colors. Going back n forth from me to Adam and back. I was fighting for control.

"Look Adam, Adrian, I know that was a sore subject but I'm just asking/saying." Billy said.
"She's my mate okay. Just leave it as that because your pissing Adam off big time where I'm trying to stay in control and if I lose, Adam's gonna kill you and I can't have that happen because your one of my good friends. You're supposed to be my delta."
"I know I'm sorry." Billy said looking down.
