The Forbidden Alpha

Chapter 40

The past week has been a little boring. The past two days after the attacks, Lilly was still in the hospital wing. That was the very 1st time shifting into a cheetah and she had rushed into shifting when she got attacked. She had hurt herself along the way. Broke a few ribs and fractured her fibula. She had to stay in the hospital until she healed up and since she's a shifter she can heal quickly.
I've gone and seen her and kept her company. We talk about her being a shifter. She said she knew her parents were shifters but didn't know if she was or not or when she would shift.

"I was afraid to even tell you that I was a shifter. I was scared if I had shifted in front of you what would you do."
"Lilly you're my best friend, I wouldn't be scared. I told you when I found out I was a witch." I told her.
"Yes you did but actually I already knew you were a witch from my parents." Lilly told me.

I rolled my eyes at her and wanted to slap her but I couldn't since she was hurt.
We talked some more until the nurse had came in said that I had to leave and let Lilly rest.

"I'm sorry Luna, but we have to let Ms Lilly rest now." The nurse told me.
I froze a little when she had called me Luna. "Aw okay." I said letting it go for now.

I got up saying my goodbyes for now. Then headed home, to the alpha house.
As I walked to the alpha house, I looked around to see some of the pack people looking at me. I smiled and waved at them. And some had done the same. Then I saw a group of children playing and laughing around where I was walking at.
One stopped me in my place when their ball rolled towards me. I picked it up and walked over to them and handed them their ball.

"You're the new Luna right?" One of the kids said.
"No, she's the future Luna of the future alpha." Another kid had said.
"To answer your question, yes. I'm the future Luna of this pack. But the future alpha and I decided we should wait for right now."
"Is it because you're a witch and that your powers are sucky." One of the kids said.
"She's not a witch."
"Is so. I heard she burned a wolf when they attacked her guardian. She saved her."
"How do you know, you wasn't there."
"I heard that the future beta tell some of the nurses when they brought her in the hospital wing. You forget my mom is a nurse."
"I don't believe this." One of the kids had said. "Show me what you can do?"
"Ummm," I said then looked around to see how I was going to do this. "I can only do the elements right now. But how about this." I said then looked around for some water.

Then forgot the clouds had water in them from condensation. I looked up at the clouds and raised my hand up at them.

"Rain." I said just to mess with the kids. I didn't even have to say rain but wanted to.

But as I said it, it started raining. Not full blown raining but more like a small drizzle. Everyone started looking around and tried to hurry up and get where they needed to be so they don't get wet.
Then I had stopped it from raining on everyone and balled up all the water. The kids were amazed by what I was doing. Then again everyone was once again looking around to see where the rain had went. A few of the adults stopped doing what they were doing and looked at me. I smiled some and started making the water into different shapes just for the kids. Making fishes, seahorses, and dolphins dance around. The kids laughed and clapped from the show.
Some of the adults that were by had clapped when the kids did as well. Then I stared at the ground and used my other hand and started bringing up some dirt. I ran the dirt around the water to make it look like the planet Saturn. When I done that everyone clapped their hands. Everyone was enjoying the show. Which made me happy that people were liking what I was doing. I thought about bringing fire and air but I was a little scared to do the fire but I knew a small spell about fireworks so I said it.

"Water, air, fire, and earth I bring you forth with the works." I brought all my power within me forward and threw my hands up in the air sending the water and dirt and they exploded into fireworks.

I smiled when I did that. The fireworks were wonderful and beautiful. I made some wolves out of the fireworks and the kids loved it. I was enjoying this until someone came behind me and tapped my shoulder and everything went away.
When I turned my head it was Adrian smiling. I smiled back at him and winked at him when I done one last firework show. I had made the moon goddess inside of a heart. Everyone clapped when they saw that.

"Showing off are we?" Adrian asked as I put my hands down and grabbed his.
"The kids asked about my powers so yeah a little showing off doesn't hurt." I told him smiling.
"No it don't honey." He said then kissed my head.

I smiled as I leaned my head on his shoulder.

"Showing off until she gets someone hurt or even kills them." Someone said behind the crowd.

Everyone turned and looked to see who it was. It was Adrian's ex girlfriend that he told me about.

"You're not even the Luna. And neither is your mom while she's dating the alpha." Serena said with her arms folded.
"Actually Cris's mom is the acting Luna since she's dating my father, the alpha. Until I take on his position and I make Cris the Luna. She's my mate after all."
"Mate please, where's her mark at then?" Serena said. "I don't see anything on her neck that shows she's your mate."
"There's children here, Serena." I spoke.
"Yeah!" Some of the mothers agreed.
"And fyi, it's none of your business if we mated or not yet. We're waiting until then." I told her.
"Exactly." Adrian agreed with me.
"Please, you're just a gold digger tramp of a witch. And your mother too. I've seen the way you and your mother been spending the alphas money."
"My mother and I don't need the alphas money. She owns a store into and I help her run it. I have my own money that I can spend."
"Then why did you have his black card then when you got attacked?" She asked.

How in the world did she know that I had his card.

"How do you know she had my father's black card?" Adrian asked her.
"I have my ways of knowing." She said.
"Well this isn't called for in front of everyone. They were just enjoying a show that your future Luna was doing." Adrian told her.
"She's no Luna of mine. She's not even a wolf. She's just a human witch."
"A witch that's kicked your ass a few times Serena." Kyle said coming around everyone.
"That's enough." Adrian growled making everyone bow down their heads. "She's my mate and will be yalls Luna. What her mother and her do so is none of anyone's business. If you have a problem with it then there will be consequences. Sorry to break up the show that everyone was enjoying but please go back to what yall were doing." Adrian had said grabbing my hand and pulling me with him towards the house.

Adrian was pissed now. And I didn't blame him either I would too but this isn't my pack yet. I'm not the Luna yet.
When we got inside he growled so loud that the alpha house shook. I grabbed ahold of his arm and rubbed it.
I told him don't worry about her she's just jealous and all talk right now because me and my mother are getting the attention that she wants. I told him if the kids weren't around, I show her, her place like I did before. She's just made that I have you and she doesn't. He smiled when I had said that then leaned towards me and kissed me on the lips.
A few days after that little shit show, everyone's been wanting to talk to me but some still kept their distance from me. Which I didn't blame them because I never know when my powers would go crazy.
But all in time everyone will know and like me. Just gonna be awhile til they do which is fine with me. I'm in no rush for that.
