Chapter 33

Adrian's pov

Later on the night, the dr came over to check on Cris. She was doing a little better than she was earlier. So he thinks she's gonna wake up soon.
But how soon is soon.
I sat in the office and did paperwork for my father to let him sleep or be left alone with Carrie. She's not taking what had happened to Cris lightly. I mean I wouldn't if she was my child. Her child just got kidnapped and drugged what would you think or do. But at least, I got to her in time.
My father had a few trackers go over to the shop and sniff out what those guys were and where they came from. But so far, no luck.
As I was doing paperwork, my one guard Jared, had came into my office and sat down in front of me. When he sat down I looked up at him and he looked off. So I put down my pen and folded my hands to get down to business or whatever was wrong with him.

"Jared what's the matter?" I asked.
"Cris, I'm worried. And I feel like it's my fault she's in this state." He had said.
"No, it's not your fault. You just couldn't go where she was in the dressing room. The fact is that we got to her before she became missing." I told him.
"How's she doing?" Jared asked.
"She's better than she was, the doc said. Which is a good sign, where she should be waking up soon."

As I was to say something else to Jared, Kyle had ran in the office. He looked like he ran all the way here from wherever.

"How's Cris? I just heard." Kyle said trying to catch his breath.
"She's fine for now. She's still asleep." I told him as I looked back at Jared for a second then looked back at Kyle. "How did you hear about what happened. Only a few knows."
"Shit, only a few knows? It's going around the pack, Adrian."
"What's going around the pack?" I asked grinding my teeth.
"That the future Luna was almost kidnapped and was drugged up, while yall were shopping for yall strip."
"Damnit, I wasn't expecting that to get out that fast. Who did you hear it from?" I asked.
"From a few guards and warriors. Oh and a few of the omegas." Kyle said.
"There was a few omegas in the house when we got back and only 2 guards know about what happened." I said as I looked at Jared.
"It wasn't me. I've been here at the alpha house all day since we've been back. I've been watching over the house."
"Well I guess it doesn't matter anymore. It wasn't like we were keeping it a secret or anything. I just didn't want people running up to Carrie getting her all upset." I had said. "I'll make a pack mind linked message to let them know not to bother Carrie."
"You think that will help?" Kyle and Jared asked at the same time.
"We'll see." I said as I closed my eyes and concentrate. "All pack members, what yall have heard about y'all's future Luna is true. She was attacked and almost kidnapped and drugged up.  But she is fine and home. So please don't bother her mother Ms. Carrie or any of the higher up about Cris. Yall will know first hand when she's back up and going. Just keep doing what yall were doing. And guards and warriors up yalls training first thing this evening when it's cooler out." After I had said that, my father had came in.

Jared and Kyle bowed their heads at him and moved out of the way so he could come sit down in front of me.

"What was that pack message all about?" My father asked.
"Kyle here, ran all the way from wherever and heard what happened with Cris today. Said a few omegas and guards were talking about it. So I was making things clear what had happened and not to bother Carrie. Carries already stressed out over Cris. She doesn't need anymore issues or anything." I told my father.
"Good job son. Already doing alphas work." My father said with a smile.

We sat and talked for a while about the trip. Kyle and Jared both said that they would go with us. Kyle was coming anyways because he's basically Cris's bodyguard. As we were about business on needs to go on and all that when we get there, my phone started going off.

"Hello?" I answered.
"Adrian, it's doc."
"Hey doc, what's up? Find anything?"
"Matter of fact yes. So the drug that was found in Cris was midazolam which is another term for benzodiazepines which is a knock out drug for surgery, make you sleep for hours until necessary. She will wake up but for how long I don't know. It's mostly for humans. I mean I do use it here but with us being werewolves it doesn't last long."
"Who would give her benzodiazepines?" I asked.
"Benzodiazepines?" The others had repeated out loud.
"I don't know Adrian but I do know that I might have something to wake her up. Flumazenil aka Romazicon it will reverse the sedative effects of Benzodiazepines. It will take a few hours for her to come to but it will work."
"Alright. I'll see you when you get here." I told doc then hung up.

"Who, why would they do that do a sweet girl like Cris?" Jared asked.
"The vampires?" Kyle asked.

I hit the desk with my fist and cursed out loud. I didn't know what to say or think if these vampire were actually behind all of this. But I do know Cris needs to wake up soon so we can go on our trip. But how long will that take.
About 10 minutes later, doc had came into the office while my father, I and the guards were talking about the trip. My father was telling me us that he and Carrie called the alpha in New Orleans about us coming up there and letting us stay there for awhile.
Doc showed up the needle he had with the meds to bring back Cris. Just hope this works because if it don't, we don't know how long she will be out. A few days tops maybe.
So Doc, me, and my father went up to Cris's room  where Carrie and Lilly was sitting on the bed talking to her and trying to make her comfortable as ever, while asleep. When they saw us come in, they got from the bed and let Doc do what he had to do.

"Ima stick her in the neck like they had did, so it will get to her heart and brain faster. Within the next few minutes to maybe half an hour to an hour, she should wake up. If not by next morning she will be awake. But she's gonna be thirsty as hell when she does. Oh and by the way, she may not remember anything that had happened either so don't overwhelm her."
"What is she asks us what happened?" Carrie asked. "I'm not gonna lie to my baby."
"No, miss Carrie, you can tell her if she asks."

Carrie nodded at Doc before he left. We all stood there for a few minutes before we all decided to leave the room. If she wakes up she knows where to find us. Just hope she wakes up. I miss her smile already.
Just come back to me Cris. I need you. I thought to myself. Adam agreed with me. I know he misses her as well.
