Chapter 45

As we all got to the airport, we drove to the back where the jet was waiting for us. As us girls got out of the trucks, we got inside the jet and let the boys do their job. Kyle came inside with as while the other two guards stayed outside for right now. Adrian wanted to take concussion, just in case we got ambushed with an attack.
I was nervous flying. Never been on a plane before. But this was gonna be fun because I'm doing it with my best friend ever.
Once the jet was all loaded up with our luggage, everyone climbed in the jet and we were ready to go. When the jet started up, I heard the hum of the engine. I looked out the window as we started to move slowly then faster. Then we were up in the air. The ground was far away and everything looked so tiny. I was amazed at what I was seeing.

"Liking what you see?" Adrian asked me.
I turned my head to look at him. "Yea, I've never been in a plane before."
"Oh, it's nothing really. I've flown many of these before."
"Yeah?" I said.
He nodded. "This is a short flight, so it's nothing. The longer flights are kinda the worst. But you can sleep so it's fine."

I laughed a little.
I turned my head back towards the window and watched everything go by. By the time I knew we were starting to descend.
Once we landed, the boys walked out of the jet and looked around. When I headed off the plane, Adrian was behind me, grabbing a hold of my hand.

"What's wrong?" I asked him.
"I can smell alpha Marcel and I don't want him getting any ideas with you since you're unmated still." Adrian told me.
"Should it be the other way around. Me watching out for the ladies over you?" I asked.
"Oh dear, you can do that too. Just know, my eyes are only for you." He told me with a chuckle then leaned forward to kiss me on my forehead.

As he was kissing my forehead, I heard someone behind me clear their throat when Adrian stopped kissing my forehead I turned my head to see who it was. It was alpha Marcel.

"Cris, so glad to finally meet you." He had said reaching his hand out towards me. I took his hand and shook it. "Your mother told me so much about you when she had called me about you and your mate here was coming down."
"Yeah, I have a mission to go find my father's family."
"So whom are we looking for?" He asked me.
"The Saint Clair's."

He growled. Making Adrian and the others growl along and moving in front of me.

"You might want to change that tone alpha." Adrian said through his teeth.
"I'm sorry. It's just we've been having some issues lately with them."
"What you mean issue with them?" I had pulled Adrian to the side so I can see alpha Marcel.
"It's a long sorry."
"Care to elaborate?"
"One of the male witches got a few of our shewolves pregnant and they won't tell us who they are. We're not supposed to mix breed out kind here. Not unless their mates with one another."
"Hmm, I'll find out who they are for you. If you will help me find them."
"They're mostly in town, but,"
"But what?" I asked.
"They run the town along with a few vampires. The vampires are old as shit, but they're good. They don't hunt humans, and I'm actually friends with the leader of vampires."
"And who's that?"
"His name is Vladimir."
"Okay let's go meet this Vlad then." I told him.

He nodded his head at me then stepped aside for us to go to the suvs that were waiting for us. Once we got in, we had followed alpha Marcel into town. Once we got into town, we parked on the side of the road by a huge ass mansion.
Before getting out of the car, Adrian grabbed my hand before letting me out.

"What's wrong?" I asked him.
"I don't really want you meeting this vampire guy. If you remember right, vampires are after you." He told me.
"We don't know if they're involved or not. I just need to find my family okay. Please don't do this to me." I told him then yanked my hand from him then got out of the truck.

When I got out, I walked over to Marcel and Lilly came behind me with Ryan.

"Cris, Adrian isn't happy." Ryan told me as we walked inside the gate.
"Oh I know." I said. "But I don't want to talk about it right now please Ryan. Just be here for us."
"I am here for yall. I'm the beta and I'm going against my alpha for you and Lilly. I, we just want you safe." Ryan told me.
"Ryan, I get it I do but please not right now." I told him with more attitude and anger which brought down a bolt of lightning a few feet ahead of us.

Making all of us stop in place and looked at me. I smiled a little bit then walked towards Marcel.

"Umm, what was that?" Marcel asked me.
"That was me. My powers are controlled by my emotions right now. And some people are making me very angry right now." I said as I turned to look at Ryan and Adrian.
Marcel turned to look at them as well. "Ain't they the future alpha and beta?"
"Yes,"
"And you're the alphas mate and she's the betas mate?"
"Yes, and she's my guardian. Plus my best friend/sister. She's always on my side. But she's sticking to be a pain in my ass right now."
"Hey, I'm here to make sure you're safe that's my job. I don't care if your mate or mine is pissing you off. I piss you off all the time and you don't do shit. So can we just get on with whom we're meeting. I would like to get some food I'm very hungry for a cheetah."
"Oh, I like her." Someone had said.

When I turned around to see who it was, Marcel had laughed at what they had said then walked over to them.

"Hello my dear friend."
"Hello Vlad."
"What brings you guys here?"
"She's here to find her family. And you, my friend are friends with them."
"Is that right?"
"Yes Vlad." Marcel said.

Vlad looked at me and it was like the world had froze all together. No one moved from their spot but me. I was standing next to Marcel and the others then the next moment I was somewhere else not knowing where I was.
