A few hours later, after the craziest vision ever, I needed to talk to my father. So once I had calm down, talking to Lilly and Adrian, they had left me be so I can talk to him alone. Once I had summoned him, we talked about everything. He brought up about me going to his hometown I told him I'm leaving tonight to go. But told him I was more worried about the vision I had. He told me not worry about it, that it might not even happen. Time changes in the time of the event that happens before it.
I was still worried thought because what if it still happens. Like am I gonna get killed trying to get married or someone else gets killed while I'm trying to get married. Like I'm so confused on how this is gonna happen. My father was no help at all. I love him but still. I told him I had to go I'll summon him once I get to New Orleans.
After I blew out the candles, I packed everything back up and sealed my suitcase so no one can get into it. I don't trust anyone right now and especially I'm going somewhere that I've never been before.
After I made sure everything was good to go, I grabbed all my bags and headed downstairs and put my bags by the front door. Then I went into the kitchen and saw everyone was in there eating.
"Hey sunshine." My mother said.
"Hey,"
"So how did that talk go with your father?" Adrian and Lilly asked at the same time.
"Useless. He said time could change all we know that might not even happen." I said. "Like I'm so irritated with it all. Why was I given the vision of it's not gonna happen. He told me I'll find the answers once we get to the Nola."
"Speaking of Nola, I talk to Marcel." My mother said. "He's looking forward to meeting yall. I told him what Lilly was and he said that's fine and I told him you were nervous about being there with family and newcomers."
"Oh, well thanks." I said sarcastically. "Can we leave now. I'm like bored out of my mind just thinking about meeting everyone. Well mostly nervous meeting family that I never met before."
"Cris, it will be okay. Just breathe and remember to just be yourself." My mother told me.
I nodded my head at her. I jumped up on the counter and talked about how they were gonna do with us gone. Lucifer said they'll manage without us. That we just need to take care of us.
It was gonna be Adrian, Ryan, Lilly, Kyle, Jared, another guard that I haven't met yet and me. Both Adrian and his father wanted to have enough guards around me at all times just not too many. I thought Jared and Kyle would be enough but they wanted to make sure we had enough. I mean ain't like there wasn't enough guards around at the other pack that I was going too.
And I'm sure the witches wouldn't let me get hurt either but they said as the future Luna, they had to be precaution about it all. We never know what enemies are there.
After everyone ate, they went and got their bags and brought them down. Adrian went and got Kyle, Jared, and the 3rd guard while the rest of us loaded up the SUV's. Ryan was driving us and the guards were driving themselves to the airport. Then once we got there we get on the jet and fly off. I was a little nervous about flying as well. My told me just sleep through the whole plane ride and I'll be okay.
Once everyone was here and ready, we all said our goodbyes to one another. Told each other what to do and not to do. I told Lucifer he better take care of my mother or else. He laughed and said he would die over her. I told him not to say that for Adrian's sakes. Lilly said goodbye to her parents, they were going back home until we come back home. That they had lives to live and move on with. That they took enough leave for awhile.
We all laughed and hugged one another until I said it was enough and that we needed to go. Told them to take care of one another and stay safe that I will be watching over them.
Once we got in the trucks, we were off to the airport. This was gonna be a long day of traveling.
