AIZAWA'S POV

Another morning of training went by. Correcting the students and advising them on what they should do to better their ultimate moves. A few of them were perfecting them, others not so much. There's still a week left before the exam, I'm confident they'll manage by then.

Yet even though I had been so busy, my mind couldn't forget her frame earlier today. Her hair was thrashed, her eyes were teary, and she was quiet all the way to her dorm. Unusual for her.

She was good at holding up her image, but deep down something rotted at her being.

"So Kayama, you know where Y/N is at?" Yamada asked before spooning pasta into his mouth.

My head jerked at the question, paying attention to the conversation.

It was a normal day yet she still wasn't here, she had changed lunches with Recovery Girl, was it because of her nightmare? Was she not feeling well?

"Well when I went to get her, she had a couple of students in the infirmary and said that she would get lunch a little later today." She responded.

"Aw man sucks, and just when we had gotten her back too." Yamada whined.

"Tell me about it, I almost stayed with her, but she was adamant that I ate." She frowned upping her cheek.

Tcht, she's always so stubborn.

I stood up picking my plate.

"Going somewhere Shota?" Yamada asked.

"I'm going to sleep."

"Ugh okay man."he responded.

"He basically lives in that sleeping bag." Kayama added.

With that I threw my tray, and made one last stop before leaving the cafeteria.

"Rush, could you make me some (F/F)?" I asked the man.

"Of course! It's funny that's exactly what L/N orders on the daily!" He started making the food at the speed of light.

"Oh really? What a coincidence."

A few minutes go by. But at last he hands me the food and I wave him off with a goodbye.

I walk through the mostly empty halls, classes were still in session with the exception of the third years.

My free hand fisted and knocked on the door labeled 'infirmary'

"Come in!" She yelled.

I start creaking the door, meeting Y/N with a wounded passed-out boy by her side.

Her hair was let loose today, couldn't say I didn't like it. Her clothes were also neat and she looked to be in a better mood.

At least she's doing better by the looks of it.

"Oh, hi Shota I wasn't expecting you." She responded in an instant as her eyes left the boy's injured leg, that was now almost healed.

It was remarkable. The way her quirk had advanced in just a couple months.

Words didn't leave my mouth, instead I headed over to her desk, and left the tray full of food.

"Eat, or you'll be tired when we have to train later today." I said sternly.

She started taking her gloves off while puffing her cheeks. "I was planning on eating, I just got a little busy." She said, reaching the food.

"We both know that's not true."

She ignored me. "Did Rush tell you that i like (F/F)?" She asked surprisingly.

"Mhm."

"Well thanks for bringing it! Hope you don't mind me eating."

"I would mind it if you didn't eat."

She scoffed and rolled her eyes before starting to eat.

I leaned against the wall in front of her, folding my hands. "So... how are you feeling?" I didn't want to out right ask, but I still wanted to know.

She reclined against the chair. "If you're talking about the nightmare, I'm way better, it helped me for one. Eye opening in a way." She smiled as she finished her sentence.

"I'm glad." I responded closing and rubbing my eyes, whether out of relief or fatigue I didn't know.

I could hear her shuffle through the desk in the meantime. "Here." At last I opened my lids to be met with a minuscule bottle of eye drops.

"How did you know-"

"I saw a bottle last time I went into your room, by the way, it has to do with your quirk right?"

I screwed open the lid and start adding a few drops to each eye. "Yes, using my quirk for a long time gives me serious dry eye, specially after the USJ incident."

"Talking of which, how are your arms doing?"

"Like brand new." I handed her the bottle.

"It's fine keep it! I've got plenty here anyway." She said waving her hands, drawing my attention once again to her unusual but most definitely beautiful hair style.

"Your hair..." I started, not having quite the strength to finish.

"Oh you noticed? Thought I'd change my look for once, but unfortunately it's a little uncomfortable to wear to work, it gets tangled easily." She answered as she passed two fingers through her hair.

I picked my body from the wall, and leaned over her desk to grab the now empty tray. "It's a shame really, that hair style looks good on you."

"W-wait, really?!" She scrambled. "Thank you!"

Her cheeks went rosy, taking on a different hue than before.

Cute.

A smirk slid through my face at her reaction. Our eyes met.

The strands that crowded her face, looked so mesmerizing and alluring, I couldn't help myself.

The bell rang. But neither of us broke eye contact, as if it were a sacred pact between us.

I leaned over her, and tucked the loose strands of hair behind her ear, accidentally brushing it in the process. Her breathing hitched at the touch.

Shit, I need to keep myself together.

I stood straight. "I'll see you later at training Y/N." I didn't wait for her response.

I grabbed the tray and tucked the eye drops in my pocket.

I hurried out of there, before I could do something I'd regret, something we'd both regret.
