Y/N's POV

I laid all my weight into the door to keep away the man.

"Damn" he murmured under his breath. "OPEN THE DOOR YOU BITCH!" he yelled, pushing harder on the feeble wooden door that begun creaking under the stress.

Shit, I won't be able to hold on for much longer.

My hands were locked on the unmovable knob, they throbbed, pain shooting through my whitened knuckles as sweat dripped from my temples.

"What's taking so long Chrono?" Kai's voice sounded distant, but approaching.

"She locked Eri in there! The door won't open."

Kai sighed. "Move aside."

I heard shuffles from outside and a new weight leaned on the door.

"Y/N" He purred my name in a sinister way. "Don't act like such a baby, no one likes a stubborn girl."

His voice shook something from within me, repulsion, nausea, and something more familiar, fear.

"Come on Y/n" His tone became mocking and a little louder.

My fingers kept on clenching.

"I won't open this damn door for you!" I replied hastily, my breath hitching.

"Fine then, just know you chose this!" his feet moved back before rushing towards the door at a ludicrous speed and force.

I held my body against the door, my breath leaving me as the impact resonated into my back.

Please Eri...

The shock wave came again, only harder this time.

Please find some help...

Another one shot through.

And please...

The next one tore through the wooden door sprawling my body into the foreign and cold floor.

Please free yourself from this hell.

Kai looked around desperately, kneeling towards me and grabbing a fistful of my flimsy hospital gown. "WHERE IS SHE?!" he asked breathlessly and agitated.

Our eyes met, his shun with rage, my with satisfaction. "She's out of this hell hole, and soon enough." I neared his face. "You'll be rotting behind a cell, just like you deserve."

"YOU BIT-" He spit out.

His words were interrupted with the sharp impact of his fist across my face.

I audibly groaned dropping to the floor below me.

Instantly, the blood vessels under my skin burst from the blunt impact.

He hurried to where Chrono stood. "Watch over her, and make sure she stays awake, don't punish her 'till I get back." He said before rushing to the exit.

Chrono's body shun with the light from the hallway.

I looked up at him, a half broken grin plastered across my face as I clutched my healing cheek. "Just try and hit me, you lapdog."

"Tcht, I won't need to that, not when I have Overhaul at least."

"I know he won't kill me." I hissed back.

He chuckled. "Oh I can assure you he'll do much worse than that." He came closer. "Now" He grabbed tape from his pocket and came closer.

"What are you doing?!" I thrashed around.
