Y/N's POV

The sun's already starting to set, why is he still not back yet? I asked myself as concerned washed over me.

I've been here for a while now, I got to watch TV, sleep, and even prepare a little snack with whatever leftovers Shota had.

I'm bored.

I sighed dramatically, looking at the news disinterestedly. Burger laid next to me curled up into a ball sleeping, slightly snoring.

Guess it wouldn't hurt if I slept a little more. Besides, it doesn't look like Shota will be back anytime soon.

I laid on the couch as best I could.

I tried closing my eyes, but it wasn't working. I couldn't sleep!

I groaned as I turned to my other side.

I sat up, hair a mess and face flustered from all the shuffling. Then the front door started unlocking.

In a moment I tore my glance to the door.

Is he-

"I'm back" he said, putting a plastic bag aside as he removed his shoes.

I stood up and headed his way, completely discarding my slippers.

"Took you long enough." I teased as I leaned in the archway

He sighed "Yeah, some of the parents needed extra convincing, but atleast they all agreed." He finished removing his shoe and took the bag before heading to the kitchen counter.

I followed suit standing next to him at an appropiate distance. "Is that my gift?" I asked with an excited smile.

"Yeah, here, open it." I grabbed the bag as he handed it to me and I opened to reveal an unfamiliar box.

"OH MY GOD."

"Kagaya told me about this new bakery that just opened up, since you're always stuffing your face with sweets I figured it woudn't hurt to get you a little something."

"First of all thank you, second of all I do other things besides eating!" as I looked up from the box to Aizawa's frame, I noticed a shadow of a smile, barely there.

Why do I feel this way.

"I mean it Shota, thank you for always helping me, sometimes I can be a mess, and yet you've helped me so much recently." I said in a more serious tone, as my hands grasped harshly into one another.

"You know, you tend to undermine yourself at times. I've helped you, as much as you have helped me, so there's no need to feel so grateful." He voice was calm and collected like usual with a hint of softness, hidden deep within his words.

As his words processed, he gently placed his palm on my head.

My shoulders tensed at the unexpected touch.

Then he began moving.

"Wait, where are you going?"

He turned his head and looked me in the eyes dumbfounded. "Umm to the bathroom..? I wanna change from these clothes they're chocking me"

"Oh right sorry." I apologized akwardly.

As he showered, I lounged in his kitchen, scrolling through my phone whilst feasting on the dessert he brought.

Damn, it really is good!

As I licked the excess cream on my lips, my phone began vibrating.
