Aizawa's POV

Two Days Later

I felt the harsh metal dig into my hip as I leaned against the car.

The late-autumn wind swirling my hair through the winds.

"tcht." I muttered, shuffling the stray lock harshly behind my ear.

Few patients went about in the parking lot with their families.

It was early, yet it seemed like time never stopped the flow of patients at hospitals.

I grabbed the phone from my pocket, and searched for my most recent message.

Y/N, I'm in the outside parking lot.                                                                                                                                   read 5:07am

I look up and was met with Y/N figure slowly walking my way.

On one hand, she clutched the bag of clothes and necessities I had brought her the other day, on her other hand, her phone.

Her sunrise-tinted-skin beautifully complemented the stoically white hospital behind her, she shun like the sun itself.

I pushed myself off of the vehicle, failing at ripping my eyes away from her stride, ever so confident.

One foot, then the other. It was simple yet she looked captivating.

She stopped, a few feet away from me. The distance was small although it felt more like a riff.

"Hey Shota" She said with that gummy smile of hers, cheeks rising.

The actions was enough to almost distract me from the faint bags under her eyes, badly-hidden with her makeup.

My hand found its way to her face, something it started doing much more recently, and dragged a lazy finger through her cheek, all the way until the shell of her ear.

A dry chuckle left her mouth. "That tickles Sho." She whined grabbing my wrist with both her hands.

I dropped my arm gently in front of me, as if not to shake her hold on it. "Did you not sleep well?" I questioned.

Her smiled faltered for an instant, before merging into one more awkward. "I haven't really been sleeping well these past few days." her hands left my own as she scratched her nape.

I frowned.

Who could blame her? She's been through so much in such a brief amount of time.

I curled my hands into fists, then exhaled before opening the passenger door to the car.

She entered quietly and I closed the door behind her, careful not to throw the door aggressively.

I made my way to my seat and got inside the car.

"How has work been?" She asked.

I sighed, grabbing on to the steering wheel. "Those kids somehow manage to get more childish overtime."

She laughed. "I bet they're excited for the festival." she teased.

"Oh you don't want to know, they're even planning on making a concert." I said, half my mouth unknowingly lifting.

I looked through the camera and reversed the car out of the parking, then started making my way out of the hospital parking lot.

"You must be thrilled to go." She added.

I scoffed. "Unfortunately, I have no choice since I'm the class's homeroom teacher."

"Even if you weren't, you know that Mic would simply drag you there anyway."
