Burning~

Chapter 2~

You quickly snapped back to reality and held the hand he was offering.

"Thank you so much" you say in a shy manner, the man that stood before you was unusually attractive so naturally you were a little flustered. He was extremely good looking, a man around his late 20s with jet black shoulder length hair, and a stoic face.

"Nice to meet you, my name is-" Before you could even finish your introduction the man that had once stood before you, was no longer there, you hurriedly turned around and saw him walking away from you with his hands tucked in his black jumper.

This man might me good looking, but he sure acts like an asshole.

Four days later~

Conveniently three days before school started the rest of your furniture was finally delivered. Strangely, even though you've been living here for about a week now, you had yet to see any of the neighbors. I don't even think I want to meet them, you weren't living any where fancy, life in the city was expensive so this run down apartment complex was the only place you could afford. Once I actually start working I'll be able to make some more cash and hopefully be able to move.

Three days later~

It was finally the day, your official first day as a UA nurse. By the time you arrived at the school, students were starting to come in, that's my clue to hurry up.

" Let's see so the infirmary should be here.. there it is!" 

As you open the door, you are met with an old lady sitting in front of a computer doing what you could only assume was paperwork.

Softly you knock on the already opened door to grab her attention." Good morning Recovery Girl, I'm Y/N L/N, your helping nurse" with a fast pace , Recovery Girl stands up and heads your way, a cheery smile decorating her features.

"Oh dear it is so nice to finally meet you, I'm so glad I'll have someone to help me around here, now that I'm getting older, I'm starting to think I can't take proper care of the students"

" I'm sure you are just as capable as always, but it's always good to rely on others is it not" you ask as a chuckle escapes your lips

"Absolutely! oh I like you already. Please make yourself at home, after all this will also be your office, I'll go pick up your uniform very quickly so we can get things started"

"Thank you!" you reply with a bow. Honestly I'm quite relieved not everyone in this school is like that man from the other day.

After Recovery Girl came back with your uniform, you put it on and got straight to paperwork, aka the most boring part of being a doctor. 

"Dear, I'll start heading down for lunch, would you like to come with me?" Suddenly you checked the time and sure enough it's lunchtime.

"I think I'll head to lunch once you get back, that way I can tend to anyone while you aren't here"

"Great idea! Well then see you in a bit."

This was peaceful. The window was half opened displaying the full sun whilst leading in the breeze that moved the curtains with ease. I could really get used to this. Your eyelids felt heavier and heavier.

Knock. Knock.

Well guess not.

"Come in!"

The door opened showing a short nervous looking boy who was accompanied by-

"Good Afternoon " The man that seemed to be his teacher spoke in a nonchalant manner, and as fate would have it, said teacher was the man from a week ago. The man that couldn't even introduce himself before sprinting away from you.
