Melody's POV

After we went to each of our houses and grabbed everything important we hopped back into the hummer and headed for the highway. Coraline was driving even though none of us had a license, it's been like her dream to drive a getaway car for some reason. She's a pretty good driver except she yells at almost everyone. (Lol love you jasmine) No idea why though cause everyone is in their lane.

"So where should we go you guys?" She asked.

"Hawaii!!!" Aryn yelled.

"Stupid she means places we can get to in the car." Klee said and hit Aryn.

"Ima hit you with this car if you do that again!"

And that started the 'who can yell the loudest' competition in the back seats. I got annoyed very quickly because we're probably counted at fugitives and need to get away from the city. I found a bullhorn under the seat, I wonder why it was there in the first place. I pushed the button. EHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

The girls got scared and Coraline swerved into another lane. "Watch where you're going!"

"What'd you do that for!?" Aryn yelled at me.

"Why would you do that?!" Klee added.

"Come on I'm right next to you!" Yomi said while covering her ears.

Coraline soon added, "We could've died you idiot!!"

"Not my fault those two idiots wanted to start fighting when we're trying to find somewhere to get away from the cops!"

It started to get quiet. Aryn turned around from the passengers seat to look at me, Klee and Yomi. "So where are we gonna go then? I don't think we can stay in Texas. Word will get around fast what we did."

"Yeah!," Klee added. "Where are we gonna go? I mean we have all this money and clothes. So we can settle down somewhere and lay low." She suggested.

"I think we should change our looks." We looked at Coraline who kept her eyes on the road the whole time. "Not like plastic surgery or anything! Just like our hair and style. You know? Stuff like that." She stated quickly.

"That's great guys! But we still need to figure out where to go." I told them.

"I KNOW! We could go everywhere!! Like all the states! That'd be awesome!" Yomi stated.

"I'm cool with that." Coraline said looking at us.

"Yeah me too!" Klee yelled.

"Me three!" We looked at Aryn. "Aryn? What about you?"

"As long as we go to Maine I'm okay with it." She shrugged her shoulders.

"Why Maine?" I asked.

"I don't know, for some reason I wanna go there." She laughed. We all laughed at her and she turned back around in her seat. We all just sat in silence we were on the highway when Coraline pulled over. I looked and saw that we were at a split with two signs. One saying Austin and the other saying Corpus Christi.

"What now?" Aryn groaned. "I just wanna leave before they try to keep us in the city."

"I kinda want to go to the beach." She ignored Aryn.

I looked at Coraline. "That's towards the Gulf of Mexico. Then we'd have to turn back around and go to another state." I told her.

"I kinda want to go too." Klee spoke up.

"I agree! But it is getting late, so why don't we go to Corpus and stay there for the night and go do what we want to when we wake up?" Yomi suggested.

We all agreed and Coraline started up the car and headed towards Corpus. Aryn plugged her phone into the Aux cord and we heard Tear In My Heart by Twenty One Pilots. Yomaira groaned while Aryn started dancing in her seat and singing along with the song.

~One hour later~

I looked at my phone that said 8:09. We had almost an hour left till we get to Corpus. I groaned and showed my phone to Klee. She groaned as she read the time which made the other girls look at us. Coraline asked, "what?"

"By the time we get there, it'll be almost 9 o'clock. How are we gonna find a place to sleep? I sure as hell don't wanna sleep in this cramped car with our bags and 4 other girls with me." Klee stated.

I pulled my phone out of my backpack. I searched up hotels in Corpus and tried to find the best ones. "I found one! It's The Nemo Kay Resort. It's more like a little house but it will fit us all into a couple of rooms. It's only $350 a night." I suggested.

"We'll make a reservation for 3 days." Yomi said. Aryn looked at her weird.

"Why three days?"

"Why not? I mean we could actually do stuff while we're there. You know? Go to the beach, visit the Lexington, go to the Aquarium and go eat at fancy restaurants. Stuff to where we won't be bored." She said.

"It sounds fun though right? In fact, why don't we do stuff similar to that every place we stop at? Like a vacation around the country and then maybe then we can travel the world!" Klee spoke.

"I'm cool with it." I said. Aryn and Coraline agreed with me. I looked back at my phone and made a reservation for three days, since check-in is in the morning or afternoon I emailed the place and asked if we can pick up our key as soon as possible because it was a late reservation. I put my phone up and started to conversation with my best friends. They were talking about all the bands they like and gossip about the bands. Since I don't really listen to the people they listen to I just brought out my phone again. I unlocked it and saw I had an email waiting. I opened the email that was from the people at the Resort.

Ms. Harley,
We received your email informing us that you have a late reservation and that you want to pick up your password to you house. We have decided that instead of you coming into the office we would just send you your password to your cabin. Your password is *******

Thank you for staying at the Nemo Kay Resort.
We hope to see you again.

I screamed. "HELL YEAH!"

Coraline slammed on the breaks and everyone looked at me. I looked out the window embarrassed and stayed quiet. "What was that for!?" She yelled at me.

"We can go straight to the cabin because I now have the code to get in." I said smiling innocently. She shook her head and began driving again. I laughed and everyone went back to talking. I put my phone up and Yomi decided she wanted to play I Spy.
