The Overprotective Boy

Her eyes flashed a green color and tree roots came up from the ground and held him down. He struggled to get free while the rest of us laughed at him.

Melody's POV

I was laughing quietly, when he glared at me again.

"Boy. If you growl at me, I will take your puppy self straight to the doggy pound. And leave you there until they find a home for your little doggy ass." I made the vines around him tighter then let go of him.

He stood up and got in my face. "Whatever makes you happy sweetheart." He smirked.

I pushed him away with one arm and he was literally thrown 10 feet away. I didn't push him that hard so I looked at to see where the air that pushed him came from.

Klee and Kenneth stood a couple feet away. Klee had her arm up. "Hey guys! I found a house!"

"Klee! You're back!" I ran and jumped on her. "Wait. How did you find out where we were?" I pulled away and asked her.

"Ummm.... Hello? I'm a tracker remember? And plus I saw Yomi and Cora when they were taking a car into the middle of nowhere. I just followed them here." She explained.

I nodded my head and turned my attention back to find the two boys. Adrian was talking with Aryn and Coraline. Yomi was talking to Klee and Kenneth. But Jack was nowhere to be seen, at least from my vision right now.

'Where the hell is this kid at?' I thought to myself looking around. I felt a presence behind me.

"Looking for me princess?" He asked me.

I rolled my eyes and turned to face him. His body was really close to mine. "As a matter of fact, yes I was. Just trying to make sure you weren't running off to turn us girls in." I pushed him back a bit.

"If I were to give you guys up, I'd be giving up myself too. Not a pretty smart thing to do huh kitten?" He said to me and then brushed pass me to go sit with his little brother.

Adrian's POV

I saw Jack standing and talking, well flirting with Melody. At the moment I was talking to Aryn and Coraline.

"That girl with the blonde hair and the guy beside him. They're Klee and Kenneth. Next to them is Yomaira but we call her Yomi. This is Coraline but sometimes we call her Cora or Cor. Lastly there's Melody. She's the one who mostly tries to keep us in line. And of course you know your brother." Aryn explained.

I shook Cora's hand and smiled at her. "Nice to meet you."

"You too." She said.

"I think Jack likes Melody." Aryn added.

"Yeah, I mean it's obvious she likes him. But I just can't see if he likes her." Cora looked over to them while talking.

I follow her eyes and saw my brother and Melody really close together.

"Oh he definitely likes her." I said to them.
